I've lived here for 27 years now...what in the Holy Lunchables is that shit?! I've never heard of Ohio Valley style pizza. I've heard of Skyline, Goldstar, Montgomery Inn "World's Best ribs" (Overrated), Graeters, etc...never Ohio Valley style pizza.
I spent 35 years in Michigan. It was only after I left that I learned the food most associated with the state is a shitty hot dog with shitty chili and mustard and onions. I then decided I should make myself a couple (with genuine Coney sauce.) They were predictably shitty.

Josh from One Foot Down talks about putting cold cheese on hot pizza. Is this abomination what he meant?

That pizza is the embodiment of drugs winning the war on drugs.

I think that honor lies solely with Altoona, PA

All jokes aside, you want the best pizza ever...It's Di Fara in Brooklyn, when I lived there I spent many days hanging with old man Dom. I haven't had it since he passed, but I hope it hasn't fallen off much.
It's already been well established that Fort Wayne, Indiana has the best pizza ever...there's just some contention on WHICH restaurant in Fort Wayne actually has the best.

Ummm - I’ve lived in several areas in OH. Never heard of this style of pizza.

I think it might actually be a Pittsburgh area type of deal. I saw a legit food review on TikTok of a place serving this style of pizza.

I think it’s SE Ohio, like the Steubenville area.

It's Beto's in Pittsburgh, and I wouldn't knock it till you tried it.

It would make way more sense if this is a SE Ohio or PA deal. I've lived and traveled all over most of Ohio and never heard of this Lunchable "Ohio Valley" pizza, but the SE is kind of a no man's land...like a place you only pass through on the way to West Virginia or if you're going to Myrtle Beach  There's no real major cities in that region. When they said Ohio Valley I was thinking more Cincinnati/SW corner.

Interesting - there is a great little family owned Italian restaurant in Steubenville - Naples. Ain’t no way they’re serving that crap.
According to the googles a place called DiCarlo’s Pizza in Steubenville created it.

Yeah I’ve had one of those before. They’re alright, nothing really to write home about imo.
