They weren't "all in". He literally committed to ND. What should they have done? They gave him about two months to prove his commitment. He didn't follow through, then they DID move on (Carr). It's not similar to Amorion. They didnt't "hang on" too long. It was a couple of months.

Glad this is over, for Dante's case I hope he is happy at Oregon, and when Oregon plays USC I hope he plays his best.

Kudos to the ND staff- they secured Carr for 2024 and we have 2 WR's in the 2023 class with no QB committed.

Moore went where the NIL was...get used to that with the NIL, he had his chance to commit to ND and chose not to which is on him.

I still blame the staff on this one. They stopped recruiting other QBs due to a silent verbal, which is fine. He vowed to go public in April and decided to instead go to TAMA and LSU. He wanted us to play secrets and not go public and broke a promise to come out when he said he would. In April, the staff should’ve started going hard at other QBs, but they didn’t. They played the role of broken hearted girlfriend and chased him around until he committed to Oregon in July. Then Tweeting at him during his commitment. The obsession is over hype and over board and the kid and his entourage of leeches needed to be kicked to the curb in April. All in for a kid that hasn’t ever played a down of college football and has high bust potential written all over him (most 5 stars do bust and his attitude sucks).

What ND recruiting sites/writers do you like?

I like the Athletic stuff, because they aren’t really biased even though Sampson is a ND grad. E
I like the Hit and Hustle. I like ISD stuff as long as Mike Frank isn’t on it.
I like the new guy at Rivals, Kyle Kelly. He actually came from an OSU site before & he is pretty straightforward, and I think does a good job.
I will listen to the II podcast with Prister Sampson & O’Malley. They seem to keep it honest.
With IB, I like Ryan Roberts. He works hard.
With Driskell it’s tough. I appreciate all the content. I need around 90 minutes of podcast to listen to each day and if nobody else is putting stuff out I can always count on him putting 2-3 hours of podcasts out a day. I just try to ignore his rants & arrogance. And the fact 10% of the podcasts are him railing on BK or Jeff Quinn.
I really don’t listen to Singer or any of his stuff because it sucks & he is always a day behind everyone & doesn’t give any inside info. I don’t listen to Goolsby on there either but that’s for other reasons that have to do with his training facility in Omaha.

Basically, I listen to almost all the podcasts because I need at least 90 minutes of podcasts every morning starting around 0600. ND football is my only vice/hobby, so I prefer to spend that time listening to ND podcasts.

I'm not doubting you, but the hottest peppers I grow are Joe's Chocolate Bhutlah and Ed's Carolina Reapers. Both of which should be around 1.5-2.2+ million SHUs. Evaporative mash for concentration? I'm quite happy around 2 million SHUs.

Never been a big Tom Loy fan, always seemed like he altered the narrative to boost subscriptions. I do pay attention when a recruit gets Fonged though.
