We heard this before with Dante. It was he's an ND lock. Now we are hearing it with Carr. Once Carr realizes he's a Carr and Michigan is 5 minutes from his house, he's going to feel extreme pressure. Unless of course his family is all for him going to ND. Hard to have a true opinion without being on the front lines, but I foresee extreme pressure for Carr to pick Michigan. The Michigan staff is going to go Cold War crazy on our a$$es.

I am not crazy about all the Carr buzz in the setting of the lack of Sayin buzz. It feels icky, like it's Dante all in all over again. Unless Carr is ready to drop the hammer very soon and commit, I would prefer to go hard after both Sayin and Carr. Until these kids sign, they're as good as gone imo.

It’s recruiting, at some level you have to take a kid for his word. Will some kids prove have been lying or change their mind? Sure. But idk what to say if you’re following recruiting you’re inherently gonna have to believe what a kid tells the staff at some point, or just not follow at all. If Carr becomes the same as Moore I guess we will see when that time comes.

Never been here. Honest to God. Been on the rivals board for 15-20 years. All they do is bitch about politics so I found this site. Didn't even know it was out there.

To me, the big what if is Jaden Rashada choosing on the 18th. Seems Moore's indecisiveness could backfire on him. What if Carr picks Notre Dame in the next week. Jaden Rashada picks A&M on June 18, while Dante is on campus. Then what, Dante? Are you going to go to ND? Are you going to go to Michigan? Oregon? Miami? Those other teams aren't waiting around for 1 QB like ND, nor are they necessarily the right fit for him.

Loy has been consistent that Dante is Irish.

He said he heard a while ago, if Carr went to ND, that could change things. He very quickly said that changed and Dante didn't care who came and he was ready to compete.

Which makes sense with transfer rules as they are.

The latest thing was purely his *thoughts* on the matter and how he assumes it *could* have an effect because of human nature.

But the fact remains, Loy is the only person that said Carr wouldn't follow Dante to whatever school he chose. So, then he was the only writer to walk that back. And, now, he's the only writer saying that CJ's decision could affect Dante's.

It's no different that the circles he talked himself into back when Jackson Arnold was deciding. The dude was contradicting himself in the same thread 30 minutes apart because he couldn't keep straight the narrative he wanted to portray. Or maybe was told to portray.

In my opinion, it depends on how much you like Moore compared to Carr. I get strong vibes that Carr could pop soon. If he pops, I think don't think Moore will end up at Notre Dame.

Moore's recruitment has stunk out loud for a couple months and I can tell Loy's confidence has gone down since then, too.

Giving examples of other kids doesn’t matter when talking specifically about Dante & how he feels.
All that matters in Dante’s decision is how he feels.

Tbf to Loy, the Michigan guy (douche) at on3 has indicated that Moore and Carr aren't likely to end up at the same school. That could be argued to be a different statement due to semantics, but the Michigan fans are certainly treating our recent surge with Carr as a positive thing for them re: Moore.

I think Loy is trying deliver the Moore news without being negative to how Moore and his family are handling it. Defending Moore in a sense. This definitely reeks handler type stuff
