Dante will still be with us. No worries. He is a smart kid and knows Oregon will do nothing for him in the future.

you people need to wait and hear what Loy, Singer, Driskell and other irish football writers say this week before you go into panic mode over what one person on the on3 oregon board says

One person who the Oregon posters immediately said is nothing but a troll.

But Simmons update isn’t exactly great. He is always anti-ND for clicks, and I would expect Moore to not say anything bad, but that’s way more complementary than you’d like to see. Hopefully the post visit shine wears off quickly.

I already told you guys that Dante will be Irish. Reading the meltdowns are fun, but will just make it all the sweeter when he signs with us.

Gotta hope for the best but it's starting to look like this class will be a slightly better version of the usual haul. We do a good job with the positions we typically recruit well but completely whiff on the positions we need to close the talent gap.
I’ve been saying it….

I'm in this boat. Rees should have learned this lesson by now and Freeman is right there with him in this recruitment. What were people expecting to hear from Moore after his officials? "I hated being treated like a rock star for 3 days on the schools's dime and never should have come"???
This.

Seems pretty clear he’s a silent to ND. If we get through the end of the week and don’t have any CB changes then I will feel confident. Oregon seems like the biggest threat.

Does he have any more OVs scheduled/planned?
If not, then, yeah, Oregon feels like the biggest threat but they're pretty in on Rashada and why'd they just offer Avery Johnson? Does not feel like a sea change here.

Who knows. We'll see. But this still feels like our recruitment to lose (Which is not to say we may not lose it in the end. I just don't know who else is supposed to be winning it?)

This is EXHAUSTING … from all aspects. Even when/If he declares publicly he’s committed to ND, it will immediately shift to a high de-commitment risk, until signing day. If we lose to Ohio St, “he’s deff de-committing and going there” etc.

This just isn’t healthy for us hahaha

Also some random smoke from Oregon posters on On3 that he is gonna be a Duck in the next couple weeks if you want a giant TIFWIW freak out this fine Sunday.

The full quote is “Oregons offer of $5M blew my mind”. No italics.

"5 Star QB states Oregon was underwhelming, but he appreciates the free, all expenses paid trip to the university" - Is this what you were looking for? Do prospects ever say anything but high praises after their visits?

You're probably correct, but we're in uncharted waters with NIL. And we know other schools will be offering bigger up front money. So I understand why people are stressed, even after NSD until players are suited up on the sidelines it is going to be a stressful time.
