Is it a ND fan thing or does all of college football have this sort of PTSD when it comes to recruiting?
You mean open Moore thread and see worry of a flip to Michigan and Tate thread worry of a transfer isn’t normal lol? It’d say a message board thing more than anything haha.

Question on Dante Moore. Is he willing to throw it up there on a deep fade route against 1 on 1 coverage (not talking double coverage just 1 on 1) and give his guy a chance in it? Or he's going to dance around and hold the ball.

He can do it all and takes the right risks but Rees might coach that out of him.

Well, those lads in the SEC have sort of retired the trophy when it comes to group PTSD on recruiting.

Where are most of the recruiting services headquartered? Precisely.

Yes I think Vizzina visiting is being used to put the pressure on Moore that's why there was smoke yesterday that Moore is close to a decision. Either A. Moore commits in the next week or Vizzina pops on his visit, I think that's how this plays out. We will c though.

Closer to a decision, but what about an announcement? lol
Yeah, this didn't scream close to a decision or announcement to me. For those that can't access, basically he's now lining up long-distance visits, then maybe making more midwest visits. And thinking seriously about each school.

So, narrowing in?

It's actually the same article they published last week or the week before, just with an updated published date as far as I can tell. All the same news from Moore's side, which is kind of contradictory in itself. The decision is getting down to the finer details, so they are getting closer... but they're still going out to see new schools, too?

They must have re-upped the same content to get in on the flurry of interest in ND QB recruiting in the past few days. Gotta get those clicks.

I’d feel a lot more comfortable with either of these guys if they didn’t live in enemy territory, Vizzina especially. I feel like we’d have to hold off more teams for him than Moore just due to him being in the south. Either way I’m sure I’m just being negative and there will be absolutely no drama with QB recruiting this year…

I know it's happened to us more than others, but Qb flips aren't all that common especially among the top guys. If Moore commits it's not like Michigan is going to pass on their other options in the hopes of flipping Moore. They'll likely land a guy over the nex 4-5 months... and that guy will suck just like every other qb they've had the last 10+ years.

Yep and ND has more QBs in the NFL than them as well.

If Moore commits to ND, not worried at all about a flip to meatchicken. If he were to flip, and that would be a HUGE IF, then I'm more worried about miami or michigan state.

If we have to ever decide between a kid and another kid, I instantly want to know who would be adversely affected.

If it's a rival that wants a recruit, that gives that kid an instant extra half star and the leg up.

Vizzini is either staying south or coming here. I would much rather take the kid that could make a regional team good for the next few years.

I want as many middle fingers to our rivals as possible on the recruiting trail. And then bring me a cup of EJ's tears, decafe.
