I have now officially entered disappointed if it’s not Moore territory.

does this say anything that wasn't reported recently?

Narrowing field, were top group, might make a prediction?

If we lock Vizzy in while he is on the party bus he only has himself to blame

A Moore commitment would be the biggest get since? Manti? Jaylon?

He's not ranked as high as those guys but think the impact would be greater given the position, impact it could have on the class, and how respected he is around the country.

Hard not to get excited about that prospect and the thought that this could turn into the class that gets us to a championship.
Biggest commit since Keeley. Kinda joking but also kinda not

From Andrew Ivins
when the bullets are flying, he has proven time and time again that he can make big-time throws, and he has done that in the super competitive Detroit public league.

That's what I saw against Carmel.

I did this kid big time, but my warm an fuzzies for Vizzina are growing everyday. I was all in on that Jazmie Arneld kid who went to OU b4.
So what, I fall in love easily.... sue me

Serious question: Moore's arm is legit, but "I" didn't see him run once in his hudl. Vizzina reminded me of DK and would get the ole freight train a hummin. Is Moore a Dual threat ? Is he a legit threat with his legs?

Thanks, asking for a friend ??

From everything I've seen Moore is a extend the play guy and move outside of the pocket, but not a true run threat. He may be able to pick up a first down or two, but he's not Vizzina or Buchner.

Moore is fairly Stroud-esque imo. Running is a last resort but he isn't exactly incapable of picking up yards if need be.

This is true, as is the post before. That being said, some folks are going to see his Detroit tan and just assume he's a running QB.

His release is so smooth. There really isn't a lot of wasted motion when he throws. The ball comes out of his hand hot and heavy.

My concern is that comps I have heard/seen such as Stroud/Bryce Young have more tools to work with. I am also bigger fan of dual threat guys. I asked if he could run simply because I didn't see any tuck it and run/ designed runs like you see with CV.

His lower half is so quiet. He's got the fundamentals for phenomenal accuracy and touch.

Not sure exactly where to put this. In the comments section to his mailbag today, Sampson basically said his understanding is ND has a choice to make when it comes to the QBs.

I know there's been real smoke of late, but jeez, do we really have our pick of Moore or Vizzina?

Moore has all the tools in the world to be a great qb. Exceptionally accurate, sees the field well, and a big arm. No idea why some have questioned his physical tools.

He's a superior passer to Vizzina at this stage and I don't think it's all that close. Maybe Vizzina's mobility makes him a more dynamic player in the end but that feels like a projection. I feel like there's nothing to project with Moore. He's ready made to be really good out of the box.

I think you are reading what you want to read. I have not seen anyone questions "HIS" tools. I was referring to the tools around him.

Nah. Go check page 4. There's a series of questions raised and were more comments in other threads comping other qbs from some time ago. May have been because everyone assumed he was going to UM at that point and F anyone that's headed there. But the tone was different a while back

Haven't read so not sure full context but perhaps the decision is accept vizzina committ on march visit or wait to see Dante who we don't know?

When was last time a duel threat QB won a national championship?

I would prefer Moore over Vizzina at this point. It seems like ND has been recruiting Moore longer and if Saban decides to go after Vizzina I think Vizzina would go to Alabama.

I'm still trying to understand this. There's just fear because of the state he lives in?

They haven't even offered, and have 7 QB offers reported. I know 247 isn't great with updating timeline for unofficial visits but they don't show any to Bama.

Its pretty late in the standard QB timeline to try and jump in. Would be quite the spin job by Saban to explain why he was 8th in line.

Yes, because he's from Alabama, I am surprised that Alabama hasn't offered. When it comes down to it, most of the time I think Saban gets what Saban wants.

Then we shouldn’t be worried about Vizzina getting offered if that’s the case. He’ll get Nico or Arch because that’s who he wants.

I still like Moore over Vizzina at this point.

Is Moore more of a dual threat and is Vizzina more a passer?

Flipped. To use the recent 247 article, folks are using Josh Allen as Vizzina’s comp and one of the 247 guys used Mac Jones as Moore’s.
