I don't buy that. He apparently knew since March that CJ was going to choose ND.
Is that per Shaun?

With regard to ‘23 QBs, you simply aren’t going to get a “good” uncommitted one right now unless someone lengthens their process. And if CJ is reclassifying, all of this is moot, but they are going to keep cards as close to the vest as possible about that for obvious reasons until it is official one way or another.
Most likely, ND will know by the fall whether CJ can reclassify. They’re probably putting out feelers to other players right now to gauge interest level. I would guess that if he DOESNT reclass then they will look to flip someone having a good senior season. Not ideal, but far from the end of the world.
So what is the real story (or, well, Shaun Davis' story) about Carr vs Moore?
I don't understand what conflict there would be here, other than personal issues. Did Carr steal his girl or something?
I was thinking the same. At some point, the behind the scenes timeline is going to come out, and even with that we'll never truly know 100% of how it all played out.Our guy Tom Loy getting lit up on the 247 board lol.
People want to know why the Moore's wouldn't ever let him make a CB prediction, but now Wiltfong was allowed to put one in, and if he regrets letting the Moore's dictate so much of his reporting on the recruitment.
I cannot wait for his 'behind the scenes' recruiting piece on the '23 class.
10 bucks says Loy comes back ultra defensive, patting himself on the back for how hard of a worker he is, after stringing together a couple of 2 minute message board replies, a 500 word recruiting article, and texting a couple sources to round out his strenuous work day. No one “grinds” harder for us, just ask him!Our guy Tom Loy getting lit up on the 247 board lol.

In his Mailbag column today, Sampson said he would bet on Carr reclassifying. The fact that a 2024 QB made him decide to speed up his timeline and pivot from his long time favorite is …. a choice.
Surprised by the staffs lack of urgency with other '23 prospects. Unless they know Carr can reclassify once Moore commits elsewhere, we don't appear to be in contact with any other '23 QBs. Need to get a elite QB every other year at the minimum if you expect to compete for championships.

It should be mandatory that he gives Oregon fans at least a fraction of the headache that he has given ND fans.I cannot wait for the report that he is a silent to Oregon but will keep taking visits.....
He still works WAY harder than Singer.10 bucks says Loy comes back ultra defensive, patting himself on the back for how hard of a worker he is, after stringing together a couple of 2 minute message board replies, a 500 word recruiting article, and texting a couple sources to round out his strenuous work day. I wonder besides Sayin, who Rees wants. Posse is another name.
Ryan Puglisi is a name to watchI wonder besides Sayin, who Rees wants. Posse is another name.
I wonder if we hear more on this years Avery Johnson if CJ reclassifies. Ran the fastest 40 at the camp. Not the fastest QB, the whole camp.

Throws funny ....![]()
Hopefully Freeman learned a lesson here.
Like 95 percent who are outAt least with haters, one can talk sh*t. It adds another dimension to the game. I’d put them above fair weather fans any day. There’s nothing worse than ND fans who are extremes - disinterested or prone to throw tantrums, both wanting attention like they’re the only ones watching the game.
Ha same here. Side note, I can't watch any games after a ND loss. Just can't do it#Pac12AfterDark used to be my favorite part of the college football day.
Little night cap, a game you aren't really emotionally invested in on the tv while you may or may not fall asleep on the couch, in a satisfied stupor that your favorite thing is on your tv screen purely for enjoyment, and no other reason.
But now I'm too old for the 2:30am bedtimes lol
Good catch. He lifts up his back foot too soon and has to end up pushing the ball too much with his arm. Makes him look a little awkward.Throws funny ....![]()
I won’t root for him at Oregon, but at least he’s out of our backyard, and imo, likely out of playoff contention. As long as he stays the hell away from Ann Arbor we’re good. In ‘23 and ‘24, OR has a far weaker SOS to ours. We play Ohio State, Clemson, A&M, USC those years. Not to mention Miami, Florida State and those teams could re-emerge at any time. We have a common opponent in USC, so if they run the table but their best win is USC, we also play them. I would always root for Oregon to lose that game because it helps us. USC will be far deeper and more talented than Oregon by that time. I wish him well, but I don’t see the benefit to him in any way. I slightly call his bluff and think he’s playing OR. Just my stubborn gut feeling is that he’s a signing day flip to Michigan once dad gets his way and he realizes how weird and far away it is to go to OR. UofM will still be there, waiting for him. Please go to Oregon, get this over with, and take it to USC.
Loy got absolutely clowned by the Moores. Shameful example of access reporting. Our guy Tom Loy getting lit up on the 247 board lol.

ND recruiting reporting is in the mud these days.He still works WAY harder than Singer.
At least Loy will go to events, go to big recruiting weekends, & actually interview recruits in person.
Singer sits at home in Atlanta & waits for recruits to call him back. ND is literally recruiting a dozen ‘23 players still, yet Singer can’t get any info from them? Is it too difficult to get info on a couple guys a day? Instead he sits on the board & threatens people & smarts off all day.
No matter how many visits he takes, until he officially commits to another school...Dante's still a non-public ND commit. (Silent)So we’re still landing Moore right???
Right??
I highly doubt this.No matter how many visits he takes, until he officially commits to another school...Dante's still a non-public ND commit. (Silent)
