My understanding is the 2 remaining targets at LB are Ausberry and M'Pemba and ND would take both of them if they wanted to come.My guess is that if he takes his other official visits and waits until December, we will accept a different lb commit.
Yes, we will hold spots for best player available but spots will be tighter with J Moore, Feeling, etc. etc. plus we need to load up on wr's and take a qb every cycle
This is well known.View attachment 3050824
Per 247, this kid’s dad is the LSU Executice Deputy AD and a former LSU LB. ND getting him would be as crazy as pulling Carr in 24.
We should go after all the five-stars who are closely linked to hometown powers they don't want to play for. This is well known.
It’s also known from his brother’s recruitment that the father is not partial to LSU & there is some resentment involved with him & the administration over how he was treated in the last scandal he had nothing to do with.
Bo is rolling in his grave and BK is about to get punched in the nuts by MF.View attachment 3050824

Don’t let Kyle recruit the kid to ND. Heard some horror stories about the job Kyle did as a host during his time at ND.He's speaking right now on IPC. Incredibly well-spoken young man. Very confident, too. Talking about how academics are very important and that he's not worried about NIL because he'll make his money in the NFL.
Another interesting nugget: His family is friends with Kyle Hamilton's family.
You can’t just float that out there like a ghost fart without some detailsDon’t let Kyle recruit the kid to ND. Heard some horror stories about the job Kyle did as a host during his time at ND.
Well he definitely played a factor in Brandon Joseph transferring to ND.Don’t let Kyle recruit the kid to ND. Heard some horror stories about the job Kyle did as a host during his time at ND.
I'm not just making things up - if I'm wrong, it's because "insiders" have mentioned that Xavier Nwankpa has a bad official visit, and Kyle being his host played a big role in that. You can’t just float that out there like a ghost fart without some details
I don't think he was implying that you were making it up. He was just saying you can't throw something out there that juicy without expecting people to want a bit more information.I'm not just making things up - if I'm wrong, it's because "insiders" have mentioned that Xavier Nwankpa has a bad official visit, and Kyle being his host played a big role in that.
Which Insiders?I'm not just making things up - if I'm wrong, it's because "insiders" have mentioned that Xavier Nwankpa has a bad official visit, and Kyle being his host played a big role in that.
First place I heard it was from Driskel. I’m not going to post paywall info specifics, but the word is it wasn’t handled well on the host side. It’s on their board if someone wants to search for it on their own.Which Insiders?
No one said Kyle Hamilton played a role in him having a bad visit, you are making that leap yourself. Just because he didn’t love his visit & Hamilton was his host, doesn’t mean it was because of Kyle. So yeah, you sort of are just making it up because you are linking causation to action with assumptions.
But it is a FACT that one of the only reasons he did visit & ND had a chance was because of Kyle Hamilton. He said that himself.
The report I heard from someone said that after the USC game last year, Hamilton and Xavier went to a bar/club, but when they couldn't get Xavier in, Kyle ditched him and went to party instead. This has always been hearsay/rumors though.Which Insiders?

This. Also one rumor not horror stories, plural. The report I heard from someone said that after the USC game last year, Hamilton and Xavier went to a bar/club, but when they couldn't get Xavier in, Kyle ditched him and went to party instead. This has always been hearsay/rumors though.
Right. Kyle Hamilton--the 3rd highest drafted DB in Notre Dame history-- allegedly wasn't diligent enough in baby-sitting a 17yo on his OV, so we ought to be careful about letting him recruit for ND? He's done more to recruit for ND by his very existence than any number of bench players or student ambassadors who would have kissed Nwankpa's ass 24/7.The report I heard from someone said that after the USC game last year, Hamilton and Xavier went to a bar/club, but when they couldn't get Xavier in, Kyle ditched him and went to party instead. Paid? Or something like the teacher who oversees the school newspaper? And FWIW, I was a sports reporter for a decade.
…not that there’s anything wrong with that…right?Paid? Or something like the teacher who oversees the school newspaper?
FWIW, you don't write like someone who has been employed to write.
Not if it's true.…not that there’s anything wrong with that…right?
On that point, have you read professional journalists lately? My god it’s bad. Almost as bad my posting. But at least in theory they have editors.Paid? Or something like the teacher who oversees the school newspaper?

The lsu gug is feeling good? Seen this somewhere beforecould still end up with LSU and their staff is still optimistic, but the noise for Gray to ND is deafening..
