His argument was "he's a diva" and "just wants to be somewhere 3 years". So yes, I absolutely provided a list of ND guys who just came for 3 years successfully. And there were many more that came in who's NFL dreams didn't pan out and quietly thought they'd be here 3 years.

Way off topic at this point but Tate’s Twitter activity is less that of his roommate M’Pemba. He pushed his timeline back just like M’Pemba. He visits many places, just like M’Pemba. The only difference is our frame of reference, expectations and where we reportedly sit.

My assumptions are based on the articles about him, the info in his thread, his own words, the entire history of ND recruiting (well, at least of the last ~15 years since high school recruiting has become a big business), and the mission of ND as a university and the role of the football team in it. There are patterns that can be drawn. And for the 3rd or 4th time, I may be wrong about Tate.

Your assumptions are based on your gut...and your proclivity to argue, attempt to misdirect, and troll. Once again, patterns can be drawn. Crystal clear patterns on your part.

It's also quite hilarious how my premise that I doubt Tate will come to ND, and then have some reservations if he does, are outlandish. But yours that he'll come here, play and do well early as a freshman, and thrive for years is somehow based on sound reasoning, experience, and fact.

I never said he'll likely come here.

I said if he does I believe he stays at ND because most players who play immediately do stay. It's as simple as that and any assumptions painting him as a flight risk (again, a kid who's committed to no one) are just shit on a wall. Which is fine, but don't whine when you get push back when making assumptions based on nothingness.

Then you blatantly ignored how he's changed his timeline and/or gives one of this summer/fall...but then says he may wait until ESD or January. You also ignored how he wants a 3 year plan from schools- not a 4 year plan, but a 3 year plan. You further ignored that he often alludes to Dante Moore being important for taking visits, as well as the fact that he's alluded to him specifically or other "elite" QB's coming on board being paramount in his decision.

So yet again, I hope he comes and does well. I'm not optimistic though.

I think he just doesn't have the info yet. He's visiting OSU April 1-3rd so doubt he's headed there, and if he is, then he's good as gone anyway. Unsure when IMG spring break is, but could be that he is just home in Chicago and making a day trip if in fact he doesn't come overnight.

I assume the “how long” was included because there would be a difference on if he’s visiting for the 17th only, which is the first day of practice, versus overnight and bleeding into the weekend visitors. I believe Malik Hartford is also 17th only. But being at the very first practice would be a nice look.

I won't believe ND has a shot at Tate until he takes his first snap in blue and gold.

This isn't even an anti-Carnell post as some have in here as I think his interest in ND was genuine. After seeing what Wilson and Olave have done, and the defining moment being Smith-Ngigbe record breaking game vs Utah, I think OSU jumped into a big lead and I don't blame him.
