Wagner's been a pleasant surprise to me that he can hold up strength-wise. His foot speed seems good. I hope that I'm wrong, but he really doesn't look to have the frame to beef up to NFL OLine size. If not, he might "just" be a really good college tackle, but not a pro tackle. For us, that's still just fine and hooray, but, yes, I hope that our warrior has an NFL career.
As an off-center aside: Alan Page was a great Defensive tackle (HOF type) who was a destroyer on Ara's beat-out-Bubba for the NCAA 1966 championship team. (We followed that with a clinching 51-0 thrashing of USC, by the way.) When Page went to the Vikings, he was still playing like an All-Star, but they questioned his smallish weight. One season he tried to beef up. Showed up at just at 300 and looked like an overstuffed sausage. I think it was his worst NFL year. The point is: there are guys, no matter how good, just can't play at too much unnatural overweight. Wagner could be that kind of guy.
