I've no strong feelings about CJ as Traitor but he seems very similar to Styles in terms of size/profile. Would this be a sign the staff doesn't think he's coming back?

My understanding is CJ is more of a prototypical possession receiver where Styles is more "take the top off" electric... Styles always was considered a high ceiling guy where CJ was considered a high floor.

I don't think they're the same at all TLDR.

Styles has way more juice and explosion when right. This is immediate competition more for Greathouse, depth for Thomas and not great for Rico Flores IMO.

Would be a welcome add IMO. No hard feelings for a Mater Dei WR going to USC to play for Riley. At least he didn’t burn us on NSD also. We need the numbers at WR, especially in his class where it’s just Meriweather.

USC loaded up on transfer WRs that were ahead of him... Addison, Rice, Williams, Washington. Homegrown upperclassmen Ford as well as sophomore Jackson III also emerged.

I wouldn't read too much into his playing time.
