I always thought ND was the leader for Rocco, when did Michigan start recruiting Rocco?

Not trying to be adversarial LAX... you bring great info to the forum. By most accounts, Rocco did seem to be an ND lean. I, (a nobody) wasn't convinced until his commitment. A Michigan son being pursued by Michigan? Great day for the Irish! Great job by the staff and a great day/opportunity for the Spindler family!!

That’s not true at all. They all committed to Quinn not HH. I don’t think Patterson was even offered until HH left and Quinn wanted Patterson badly and worked his ass off to get him.

Somebody mentioned that he had told his grandpa where he'd play in college last year, because gramps was on his deathbed. It was not confirmed that he said ND, though gramps was a big ND fan so you put 2 and 2 together

He is ranked in the top 100 and looks really good if you watch him on Rocco's highlights. I would say Dillinger is a better prospect than at least 1 of the 4 committed.

No, I wouldn’t consider him elite. And, outside of LSU none of those other schools really did either. But, it’s two different conversations because of the timing. In February, I’d have gladly welcomed Dellinger into the class. Solid prospect with decent upside but his downside is medical RS.

But now, with Coogan, Alt, and Rocco on board and what appears to be an exceptional start to 22’, easy pass.

It’s Rucci, Fatheree, etc or bust, IMO.

You are correct. Quinn was OL coach for all of those verbal commits. HH started the recruitments of the 19’ OL but Quinn had to close those guys with stiff competition for all well after HH had left.
