He already transferred. We'll never forget how he considered transferring every single offseason until he finally followed through.

My most logical theory (which ties into your post) is that Diggs came back for the 2022 season only because he was lead to believe that he would be "the man". Ultimately it ended up a 1A 1B situation.

Even the most generous evaluation after the 22 and 23 years would show that ND make the right call. We can tell kids we'd like to feature them but they must produce when given the opportunity. Diggs has shown a propensity for getting injured. He's a good college running back.

Estime was one of the best RBs I've seen at ND. His ability to almost always pick up yards and get yards after contact was unparalleled.

I wish nothing bad for Diggs. It's really shortsighted to try and flash personal grudges on social media as some sort of motivational tactic, if his tweet alludes to his time at ND.

I would guess it's about LSU at this point. He was injured for a few games after Alabama, but he didn't see much action once he came back.

Very cryptic. No way to tell if he’s referring to ND or LSU but LSU fans seem to think he’s talking ND & he can “get revenge” in the bowl game. Who knows. It was retweeted by Holden Staes

We’ve got too much talent split between Kaleb, Williams, Holly and Durham. That said, why doesn’t he just declare for the Draft? Why bother transferring?

Also, you can never trust a Rummel Raider. Trash school. 😂

I was gonna say maybe he could go Canadian league or semi pro but that’s CFB now. Kinda makes sense he’s coming back if someone is desperate enough to pay him above tuition.

Canadian league has some rule about only so many players on a team can be non Canadian. It’s why so many just not quite good enough for nfl players dont end up there because of that rule

Does he have the talent to be an NFL RB? I think the answer is no, so transferring around and not getting a degree is a bad decision.

Unless some other school was offering eyebrow raising money (and they aren't), he can always come back to finish out his degree. I think he could potentially make a NFL team, though...at least on their practice squad. Maybe get some ST reps? RB, as a whole, is losing its importance.
