I think its more about the state regulations than the schools. If i go to a state with a certain percentage rage i have to get tested before i come back to work. And since i went there on my own and some states requiring you to self quarantine i am not going to throw away money as parent. Because if i understand right if you go there on your own you forfeit the government money. The state regulations are holding the schools back.

True but can you honestly say that a Bama degree opens doors like ND does? So say football ceases, the ND degree would be far more beneficial than a Bama degree.

That is what I am saying. Kids see Bama as a one way ticket to the pros (even though many do not see the pros at all that are sold this) and dont think of anything but football in their future because Saban doesnt sell ANYTHING but the ability of Bama to put guys in the pros.

Depends on the degree. I mean, this is a perfect opportunity for Wooly to grace us with his presence and drop knowledge about ROI and stuff. Of course we, as ND fans, will always see an ND degree as better than an Alabama one, and usually the ROI backs that up. However, you can still do plenty well for yourself getting a degree there, building your networking up, and applying yourself. The degree really only matters for what, your first job or two?

College is fake. Real ones go to trade school and start pulling down six figures in their early 20s.

Honestly, I thought Wooly was the one that did the ROI not Whiskey, so I wasn't calling anyone the wrong name, more just calling for the wrong person haha.

So much for poor performances. Diggs had 35 carries for 257 yards and three touchdowns versus Catholic B.R. defense. Check out his Twitter. Highlights from the Friday night game.

So did he get an offer from his defending national champion in-state dream school?

or

Some 10th place SEC team with a 3-5 record?

Maybe it's just me, but I would say that putting up a picture of Kevin Faulk to announce is not a good sign. If you google LSU RB's, you don't see Faulk listed in the images section. That's like someone putting up a picture of Lee Becton to announce an offer to ND. It's intentional IMO.

On serious note, if he does decommit, I hope he knows that program is going to be going through some major shit wants the NCAA steps in - and Ed O is a dead man walking.

Faulk is LSU's RB coach.

Is he good enough now that a RB/talent factory offered? We might have (for now) a good one here.

IDK on the bolded. Per the reports, the complaints were made to the police and wider school admin. Ed isn't in a position to "ignore" complaints, it's those they reported it to, or those in charge of investigating and following up on the claims. Not saying Ed isn't going to be gone, but I haven't seen anything specific on Ed dropping the ball that would call for his being fired. More of a bad look on the admin and police.

We will have to see. Either way, the performance this year was awful and last year is looking more and more like the Brady and Aranda show rather than anything Coach O did. If he were smart, we would get rid of Bo as quickly as possible.

Oh I agree it was due to the O changes + having a stud QB.

I buddy of mine who is an LSU fan took me through all the losses of personnel they had this year a few months back. Can't remember the details to be honest, but it was pretty big. In short, I think there are several pretty big impacts to this year not even including covid. Bad thing is, Ed O will have to clean it up. Good thing is, Ed should know what works and what doesn't work after making the correct adjustments last year.

Couple posts on the TigerDroppings forum said that LSU is offering him at LB, not RB.

"The word is they want him as a LB potentially"
"They’re offering him at linebacker not RB"

I assume that's referring to LSU cuz I haven't heard anything about us offering at LB.

I like Diggs and would love to keep him if he wants to stay. But, I think the worst case scenario is Estime gets a call and says see you on campus coach Taylor

To be clear, you like Estime the least out of the RB’s?

I’d go Edwards, Estime and then Diggs. Estime had video game numbers this season and I think him in a Matt Balis program would be incredible. Edwards is a borderline 5* RB and I’d take him anytime with however many prior commitments. Diggs is a nice commitment but to me the top two are significant difference makers whereas I just don’t see Diggs as some crazy level recruit (Edwards) or as some physical specimen (Estime). He’s just solid. If ND could somehow land Estime and Edwards that would be an incredible class. Maybe the best RB class in the Kelly era outside of Dexter and Josh Adams or Folston and Bryant.

No but I understand why you might think so from what I posted. Worst case scenario from a Diggs de-commitment is we get Estime and nobody else. Worst case scenario if we keep Diggs is Diggs/Estime.

You have to assume decommit at this point. Jerry was a real unique prospect and he came from North Louisiana which is a major difference than South Louisiana as far as football fanatics are concerned. LSU typically gets what it wants regarding in-state talent unless Bama is knocking hard but that is the case with all states regards to Bama it seems.

Light up Mr. NJ
