I'm not. Those clips were from a little less than two months ago so he has to be carrying most of that weight during that camp. He did get beat on the third clip until the kid slipped, but he's moving quite well. Body by Balis will get him optimized if we land him.

ND may be assumed as the favorites, but he tweeted that he is not leaning towards anyone yet and is still wide open. Michigan coaches, commits and fans are coming at him hard and he's definitely feeling the love. This is probably going to be a lot tougher battle than some had initially thought. He is a must get for ND imo. Especially after taking a small OL class this year. Fisher and Tengwall need to be ND's OL anchors for the 2021 class.

I'd agree with you 99.9% of the time but Tosh Baker was a must get.

Fisher's got nice feet at his age and biggness but he's not a lock to be an OT I could see him and Tengwall as TK/Banks mega-OG's.

I could also see both of them not being Irish though I think whiffing on both would be difficult.

“Must gets” never made sense to me. What happens if they don’t land player x that has been labeled a “must get”. Does the team get set back four the next four years? Does the team have to forfeit all of their games?

There have been plenty of players get labeled as a “must get” that Notre Dame didn’t land. If you ask me, besides 2016, Notre Dame has been just fine without those players.

I do believe in recruits/players that will “move the needle” for the team. Which would be players that could get Notre Dame over the hump and/or keep Notre Dame as playoff contenders. Guys like that are Tosh, Tyree, Johnson, Botelho, and Mayer.

Term is used quite often when talking about recruiting. Yes, no ones technically is a must get if you look at it the way you do. I'd like to go at it with a must get attitude though. I prefer ND being good and to be consistently good you should probably land some "must gets". That is all.

I'd say he's a must get, with the thought that ND needs to keep the best players in the state.

There might be a "must get" near signing day if you have a massive hole in your roster and a recruit who is the only one to fill it. But an OLM who is a Junior in high school? Nah.

Position groupings can be must gets. We must get 2 DE's or we must get 3 CB's, for example. But using for a singular prospect is also a pet peeve of mine. Doesn't make any sense.

He reminds me of the Gibson brothers Aaron & Adam out of Decatur Central in Indy. Both were around 6'5" 375. Aaron played at Wiscy and for the "da Bears". Adam didn't have his head on straight and struggled to get good grades at the JC level. Wasted talent as the HS coaches felt he could be better than his brother.

Concerning for the opposition? But seriously, let's just hope he was following the old bulk-shred cycle and was nearing the end of his "bulk" phase.

Reminds me of Damien Mama (sp?). And 247s retrospective showed the most commonly associated traits between OL selected in the draft was the athleticism they possessed, not the size.
