I'm always happy for recruits to pick ND, but I legitimately might not understand and would love to learn from somebody who understands this kind of recruitment more than I.

Genuinely happy for Caleb. He had to go through a lot of shiit to get the offer and leave his HS teammate at Auburn. But this is obviously what he wanted all along. Welcome home hoosier.

I'll say it again. Quinn is a bad bad man. Didn't look like he handled this very well and STILL got his man so. . . he handled it just right. Anyone who ever questioned if he still had it, drop and give us 50.

Only rivals has the kid as a 3*. On top of that he’s got an all star offer list. On top of those two things he’s over 6’5” which I tend to favor as size usually helps in a tiebreaker system when you’re choosing between olinemen. Gimme 6’5”+ 4* dudes all day and you could have one hell of a line with the right development and system. This is a great get!

So glad I'm on the right side of history. I took many a lashing for questioning HH. Glad he left us with the 2018 stinker of a class that was saved by Quinn flying into Orange County and grabbing Patterson like the last package of TP at Covid ravaged Costco.

He has the build, the athleticism, and body control of a starting FBS tackle. We may have some in the class/roster that may have higher upside but I don't doubt that he can become a quality starter. OL is a position group where you have to plan ahead and keep the cupboard stocked.

Ranking craziness. After they updated the rankings, he was still a 4 star. I see that at some point in the day his composite dropped to 3star though. His grade didn’t changed but dropped 2 rungs in the ladder due to Alt and Indiana’s own and Crus’s boy Zen Michalski.

For the star followers, it appears his composite 4th star was returned after more shake up - there are 5 composite 4star OTs behind him as well including aforementioned Michalski. His current, updated rankings:
