I agree with you on this one, not because the receiving room is bad but because every other position group is so strong. Also a few more unknowns there vs known quantities nearly everywhere else. Faison will be excellent. Greathouse has some questions, but if healthy, should be better than 2024. Everyone else is just projections. A lot of talent, but we'll have to wait to see who translates to production.

Agreed. I think the biggest concern is the lack of a true number one.

I’ve been saying from day one let Joey play both ways but what do i know.

I've had that feeling from day one as well. I've mentioned it before on here... I don't see him learning both offensive and defensive play books in this short of time. So I think he is gonna occasionally be our redzone boundary receiver. Just needs to learn a few basic routes to do that

TE would be weaker than WR simply put from returning production and talent comparison.

4 guys included on Feldman's Freaks list: Brewu, Knapp, Elijah Hughes, and Bryce Young. Notable that Brewu is up to 294, up from 280 at Pitt last year. Sneed was also listed as a honorable mention in the Brewu snippet. The weight that these guys can throw around is mind-boggling

Young’s lifting numbers are really pedestrian. Brewu is the only ND guy on the list that I would describe as freaky.

I feel like we will have a Patriots like Wr core where everyone is a viable pass catching threat. Faison will be the slot/Welker/Edelman go to. Carr will simply go through progressions and hit who is open

He also said while ND’s WR room is good he doesn’t think there’s anyone that scares people come playoff time. I think his comment was more of a shot at BYU than a compliment to ND, which would be par for the course.
