It makes zero sense passing on Schott with the roster expansion.
They passed on him before the announcement of the scholarship limit increase.

But, I’ve read nothing but negative comments about the 25 class?Hypothetically if we landed Faraimo, NOB, and Olesh (and no one else), this class would be the highest rated ND class since 2013, just to put things in perspective.
I'm a 'no' on this.Anyone else get the feeling were gonna regret that one?
I often wonder if ND had offered Pritchett and Schott would it have even mattered. Like would the interest have been reciprocated?
247 has Olesh ranked 3rd among TE, Flanigan 7th, Schott 10th and Pritchett 15th. (Nate Roberts is 13th. LOL).
Another fun fact: Miami took a verbal from another TE before Schott and Alabama the same with Pritchett.
I'm not having to connect the dots here with what Denbrock is seeing. I'm going to trust it.
No but maybe you could persuade him to do so?Haven’t paid much attention to recruiting since the season has started. Has Gideon Davis flipped yet?
I have no say in it, but he is the kid they have been going after the hardest. No but maybe you could persuade him to do so?
He’d definitely be a win if the staff can pull it off.I have no say in it, but he is the kid they have been going after the hardest.
An interesting scenario with Davidson is that his parents are white Evangelicals from the South and oftentimes this segment of the population isn’t, shall we say, fond of Catholics. I know we’ve had white Evangelicals on the team before but I wonder how difficult it is to recruit them.Haven’t paid much attention to recruiting since the season has started. Are we talking about Gideon Davidson? And didn't he already come out and say he isn't considering other schools? An interesting scenario with Davis is that his parents are white Evangelicals from the South and oftentimes this segment of the population isn’t, shall we say, fond of Catholics. Yes and Yes. I got his name wrong. Are we talking about Gideon Davidson? And didn't he already come out and say he isn't considering other schools?
Rising polarization and radicalism in America are paradoxically fostering unity among Christians, as they increasingly recognize shared values. This trend is evident at institutions like the University of Notre Dame, which promotes collective identity over division. In contrast, secular institutions often lack such coherence, highlighting Notre Dame’s role as a unifying force in a fragmented society. This transformation illustrates faith’s potential to create community amidst discord. An interesting scenario with Davidson is that his parents are white Evangelicals from the South and oftentimes this segment of the population isn’t, shall we say, fond of Catholics. Then why do Evangelicals keep telling me that Catholics are going to hell?Rising polarization and radicalism in America are paradoxically fostering unity among Christians, as they increasingly recognize shared values. He can if Mike Pence has the coura-…Haven’t paid much attention to recruiting since the season has started. Has Gideon Davis flipped yet?
Better sign two on Wednesday as well.Watching Gideon Davidson looks like a slightly less explosive Jeremiyah Love. Sign one of that guy every day of the week and twice on Sunday for the evangelical crowd.
And director of scoutingDon’t want to sound the flip alarms but Gideon is following A LOT of ND related accounts
Outside of our recruiting staff, he’s following Jeremiyah Love, Christian Gray, Jadon Blair & his dad, Antavious Richardson, other players / recruits, and a bunch of ND fan accounts.
Something is brewing.
No chance. Too many bed wetters I mean members here say this staff is no different than Krian Belly’s classes.Don’t want to sound the flip alarms but Gideon is following A LOT of ND related accounts

The $64K question is... Is he the Right WR Choice?Someone here posted his name yesterday but it does sound official now and WR 2025 board is expanded! Notre Dame football adds another wide receiver recruit to the 2025 board, eyeing flip from prominent program
