Many men confuse 4 and 8 inches. In the latest from cam Williams on Twitter/X... how in the f is he like just a smidge shorter than Aamil wagner? Williams is listed 6'2 and wagner 6'8 appears side by side 2" at best wagner had
Amil has never been listed as 6’8, that’s Tosh Baker. In the latest from cam Williams on Twitter/X... how in the f is he like just a smidge shorter than Aamil wagner? Williams is listed 6'2 and wagner 6'8 appears side by side 2" at best wagner had

Where you measure from makes a differenceMany men confuse 4 and 8 inches.

Gotta measure from underneath. Game changer.

Compared to Rocco, he looks very small.Keen to see how Wagner plays. It seems like but for size he would be elite.
I know we brought in some bodies, but possible theyre now being coached up too by the guy everyone wants gone?Meadows, Robinson & Hall committed to other schools to soon I guess!?!?
Yes, I would agree. Brown has struggled on the recruiting trail, but now that camp has started he can show what he is coaching. If I am ND I'd keep in contact with Meadows, Robinson, Hall & Hines.I know we brought in some bodies, but possible theyre now being coached up too by the guy everyone wants gone?
FWIW, the ISD folks said that the recruiting narrative is real. Jamie said that virtually no WR recruits talk about Brown and he hasn’t been able to get a bunch of 2026 blue chips on campus.Yeah I'm gonna go ahead and say that the Brown being a terrible recruiting narrative is BS.
The reality is that he's had to recruit against the non-existent WR production the past few years. Sure, Stuckey was able to win some quality battles, but he also didn't produce on the field. I don't think that's ENTIRELY his fault, but the reality is that 2022 and 2023 have been poor years for receiver production and Brown is having to recruit against that.
That isn't an easy thing to overcome until he can prove otherwise.

Who the F is Denison? I’ve seen him mentioned on here a few times but I don’t recall a RB coach named Denison at ND in the last 30 years.Good WR developer =\= good recruiter
Denison was a good RB coach, but not a very good recruiter. If Brown can make up for his recruiting deficits by providing the WR group good coaching, then I could live with that.

Anywho…Carry on with what you do.
I don’t think anyone realistically expects us to bring in 2-3 top 10-15 WR’s like OSU does every year. But I think it’s reasonable to expect 2-3 top 25-30 WR’s every year.We are probably underestimating how tough the recruiting job for WRs is right now. Everything aside, we can't match Ohio State, USC, or LSU with their production so far. Prove it on the field with this group and the bigger recruits will come.

Some of the guys under Stuckey never got better though. Thomas is the only guy who showed any growthI think any of us would appear like a good coach if we could:
Subtract (3) --
Soph Merriweather
Fr Flores
Fr James
Add (7) --
Sr Mitchell
Sr Collins
Sr Harrelson
So KK Smith
Fr Williams
Fr Gilbert
Fr Saldate
And also have a year older (and healthy) Greathouse and a year older Faison. And a healthy (for now) Thomas
I don't see how anyone at this point can think anything other than the improvement in the room is from a combination of an infusion of more talented and experienced players. There's also just more sheer numbers.
In what universe can swapping out scrubs and highly inexperienced players like James, Flores, and Merriweather for more experienced and/or talented players like Mitchell, Collins, Williams, Gilbert, etc be considered anything than an improvement through talent infusion?
Even with Greathouse and Faison--talented guys just get better by virtue of being a year older
To somehow ascribe the improvement in the room to Brown's coaching is crazy to me
I'm not sure what Brown ever did to get so much goodwill around here but I've never seen a coach get so much undeserved credit whilst simultaneously getting to avoid any justified critisms
Now because we have more talented players than last year--we got posters saying "Hmm, well I bet he's not that bad of a recruiter"? As if coaching fundamentals of a position and recruiting are the same thing
