You get points for turnovers, sacks, pbus, tfls, 3 and outs, etc
I wonder if there’s any data for how they think they would correlate to a real game. It’s not apples to apples but any win for our offense against what might be the nations top defense is a good sign. I really would love to see our OL go live against our DL.

As calvegas jokingly referenced, it's all in the details of how they score it. If a pick 6 is 1 point, a sack 1 pt, TFL = 1 pt, etc, then the defeinse would've outplayed the offense 6:1 but I doubt it was that skewed. I'm sure the scoring system was set-up to handicap the defense a little bit but it doesn't matter. The scoring system excelled at fostering competition and keeping both sides locked in.

Relieved that we made it out of another scrimmage without a top 44 player going down. Next week will be brutal but College Station will be here soon.

I'm sure coaches who's job is actually to put the best players in and get the best results are thinking about all scenarios and are making the most informed decision where people are positioned.. it's almost like posters are more informed than the coaches who see everything and posters think they are more informed and smarter...

If Rocco ain’t even 2nd string LG that’s a heck of a fall for him

From everything I've heard, sounds like Coogan moved over to center and is the 2 behind Craig, so that would put Rocco as the 2nd string LG. Probably the first guard in.

To clarify, because a few will not know the context here.

They are giving Coogan backup center snaps to solidify the position in case Craig goes down. Pendleton was given reps at OC in the spring, but had issues with snapping.

So most are leaning toward Knapp (6'4, 291) as the LT, LG = ?, A. Craig (6'4, 308), Schrauth, (6'5, 315) Wagner (6'6, 290)

LG = Pendleton (6'4, 305), Coogan (6'5, 310), Spindler (6'5, 331)

Pendleton has the most momentum and the most youth.
Coogan reportedly has the highest floor, lowest ceiling and most experience
Spindler is huge and can move people in the run game but apparently has lapses that give the coaches pause.

The skeptic in me thinks Spindler would've already taken the job if he was capable of taking that next step.
Coogan should've locked it down if the coaches thought he was capable of more growth.
Pendleton's youth next to Knapp's youth is scary but it sounds like his past week has been the best of the group.

Coaches have a helluva an equation to solve. It's obvious the competition has been wide open.

He’s still in the fight for 1st string…….

Fwiw II doesn't think Spindler is even in the running to start

LT-Knapp, MAYBE Tosh to start the season but I personally would go Knapp

LG-Pendleton or Coogan, actual close battle

How's Wagner looked in camp? All the talk is about the left side, not much info about the right. Hopefully he's solid.

I read something (can’t remember if here or somewhere else) that he’s looked great in pass protection, because he’s athletic and has great feet. Struggles in run blocking though.

He sounds like the exact opposite of Baker.
