Ohio State would be strength on strength. I thinj our secondary could run with them. But i have battered wife syndrome so who knows. Beating Ohio State would impact recruiting a lot more than beating Oregon i think.

Just got back home from the weekend and saw this. Otherwise, might've tried to meet up.

Got into SB later than expected. Still got to see some of Game Day, the grotto, player walk, and went inside the Basilica. The game was amazing. Only our feet got cold. Atmosphere was electric. Pissed we gave up 14 late though. On to Georgia.

Boise St
Penn St

Georgia
Oregon

Middle four are tossups
Pretty much zero chance we see the first two. Like to play is not the same as likely to play.

Oregon's biggest issue is their run defense so there is something there if we play. I actually want nothing to do with Texas just because I think that's the most balanced offense and maybe most athletic team on that side of the bracket. I think Georgia is the toughest team left though.

I find Herbie’s comments on Saturday’s GameDay way worse than Lane. Lane was clearly shilling for his team/conference. He’s expected to be completely biased. Herbie commentates and calls games for all these teams. He needs to have a realistic view of the sport. By the standards he applied to IU, the SEC clearly didn’t need more than two teams in the CFP. Tennessee (big, bad 10-2 SEC) got smoked by more against a lower ranked team. Fact is that outside the top 4-6 teams, there’s a clear gap. There is no point in filling those 6-8 spots with a rematch of the SEC regular season.

Clemson, SMU, Indiana, and Tennessee all never really ahead or seriously threatening their opponents yet somehow, Lame Kiffin is the big loser of the college football weekend. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving slimy dirtbag.
