Re: Koval. I never got the impression that she shied away from hard coaching --- no real info on that at all. She seemed to be trying all season long to improve, just wasn't getting there quickly. As with several posters here, I saw a raw talent here, which emphasized the rarer commodity of true size (Height, bulk, and length) in the paint, and who did not shy away from the hard contact. She needs coaching and time and reps. I don't have any "warm spot" for Mulkey, but I bet that Koval becomes a force down there --- might take a couple of years. This is a coordination, footwork, "settle-a-moment-with-the-ball" kind of thing quite common with big slow-footed girls (guys too for that matter.) .... and LSU seems to have good NIL resources for female BBallers too. I feel that her transfer is truly a lost opportunity for us.
