So Hudson Card:

- Oregon ❌
- Oregon St ❌
- Illinois
- TCU?
- Other?

If he visits, could still beat Hartman to the punch

Hartman:

- Florida ❌
- Auburn?
- Other?

I thought I saw Spencer Sanders to Auburn? Maybe it was just a visit or something.

Yeah, well did he average 18.2 yards per catch? Also, look at the difference in quarterback

Stats aside, A. T. Perry is going to be at mid-round draft pick at worst. Kaleb Smith is not on the same level. He will be a solid complimentary piece for ND, but Perry is a true #1 WR in college.

Idk. Freeman is quoted as saying they are looking to only bringing in difference makers. Let’s see what Kalen does with a competent qb.

My VT buddy said “dependable guy but no overwhelming traits.” After watching some clips that seems fair.

Not sure what you mean but difference maker but looking at the WR room next year a dependable guy would be different than what we’ve seen.

Watching this bowl game I don’t see overwhelming traits from perry either. Dependable, definitely. Elite at anything, not really.

I think he really good. Moves great in the pocket, accurate, tough, competitive...hope the smoke is real.

Hope the OL lives up to it's potential next season
Yes, I think all of us hope that. But more than hope, I think there is good reason to believe!

Alt and Fisher in their 3rd year as starters.
Correll in his 2nd year as a fulltime starter but he has 3 years of experience.
I'm far less certain about who the other two will be but the glowing reports abotu Schrauth are encouraging.

And agree with the others above: thinking of Hartman behind our OL with our stable of RBs picking up yards and all the young WR/TE talent....it really gets me excited.

And the best part about potentially getting a player like Hartman is that our young QBs will see where the bar is set. We haven't had a QB who makes all the throws and stays cool in the pocket.

Random question, is he Jewish? Who was the last Jewish QB to be on the roster at ND?

I will say, he’s one I’ve followed closely over the years since he appeared on that Netflix show, QB1. Seemed like a pretty grounded kid, even a few years ago.
