Seems like ND would like to take all 3 between Hillman, Barnes and Smith, but Barnes might look at the situation with Hillman committed and 5 other DBs on board, plus 4 (really 5 including Edwards) receivers and think there's better opportunities for him to play sooner.

I think they are taking both if they want in. Insurance policy for any possible defections and both are good/great athletes that they can move around position wise if they need/want to.

i'm guessing Micah Bell is not so he can run track this spring at his high school. IB said this summer that Micah ran the 5th fastest 200 meters time this past spring in the track season. we are bringing a lot of scary speed to the football program with this class

A few others are not enrolling to play some sort of winter sport. Jagusah could have, but he wanted to wrestle - I believe he's undefeated.
