I could see at least two of sophomore corners transferring. Riley, Barnes & Tucker. Possibly all three.

Only a few members of the sophomore class have seen any sort of playing time. The freshman class has already surpassed them at some positions. With another group of talented freshies coming in, the battle will be intense.

Berrong has been passed on the depth chart by current classmate, Evans, and two freshman, Staes and Raridon (prior to injury).

Schweitzer hasn’t even played this fall on special teams. JR and now Sneed are starting to see the field more.

And the sophomore corners. Maybe one of them can crack a two deep position next season, but they have already been passed by freshman Morrison and Mickey.

Baker and Carmody have ran with the second team at tackle, and Alt and Fisher have those spots locked down for the foreseeable future.

One thing to add as well… I think Bellamy would be best moving to wide receiver. There’s currently a logjam and he’s stuck in the middle. Many upperclassmen and now three incoming freshman next season, maybe four of Hillman or Barnes join the 2023 class. And the move to wide receiver, would be good for depth.

Mickens apparently poking around in Cinci for more corners. UK writer says ND wanting him to visit. Committed and decommitted from WVU and UC. Michigan and Sparty have jumped in recently

Seeing who he found and how they were developed at UC, I have a great deal of trust in Mickens.

Kentucky has also done a good job of finding hidden gems in Ohio that get passed over by Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State.

Yeah, I wasn't as tuned into recruiting then, but just seeing how elite that list is, and how successful ND visits usually are, was surprising to see. Realistically if not for NIL, they'd have 1 or 2 more on that list.
