2 Deep getting me Hype
Alt and Fisher would be stupid to not enter the draft. And they aren't stupid.I'm pretty sure Correll has one year left after this if he wants it so we could return 4 OL starters next year?

But, sure, they will have remaining eligibility.
Fisher may want to return to play LT and boost his draft statusAlt and Fisher would be stupid to not enter the draft. And they aren't stupid.

ND depth is stupid. It's evident why Diggs left, still wish he hadn't, but I get it.Lots of "Or's" in the RB room LOL
Also... NIL. If you have will parties, it's not complicated to compensate a midround pick with first round upside to entice them to return. It's not that straightforward for Fisher. If he plays LT and gets signed in the first round, vs. a second or third round RT, he will make a ton more money.
I expect Ford to be jumped by Love by the end of the szn.ND depth is stupid. It's evident why Diggs left, still wish he hadn't, but I get it.
Ford doing KR is neat. I still think Love is going to prove too good to keep off the field this year, which is insane considering he's "fifth" on the depth chart.
Translation = Estime or whomever is hot that day.Lots of "Or's" in the RB room LOL
Not really. Ford came after Diggs left. Diggs was right there with Estime as 1a and 1b.ND depth is stupid. It's evident why Diggs left, still wish he hadn't, but I get it.

Woof. That wasn't very fun.You guys remember when the backfield was Cam McDaniel and George Atkinson? Good times.
I'll see your 2013 backfield of McDaniel/Atkinson/Folston/Carlisle and raise you the 2019 backfield of Jafar Armstrong, Tony Jones, Jahmir Smith, and CBo Flemister although Jones was admittedly a good player. The other 3 though? Yikes. You guys remember when the backfield was Cam McDaniel and George Atkinson? Good times.
At least Tony Jones got a cup of coffee in the NFL but yeah.... woof...I'll see your 2013 backfield of McDaniel/Atkinson and raise you the 2019 backfield of Jafar Armstrong, Tony Jones, Jahmir Smith, and CBo Flemister.
Agreed. BK was hoping he could pull a Prosise 2.0 with Jafar which backfired. At least Tony Jones got a cup of coffee in the NFL but yeah.... woof...
I would argue that every single one of those guys is less talented than at least 4 of our current RBs. Possibly all five.
I am thoroughly impressed by the memory some of you have. But, yes, how far we’ve come. I used to think that ND would never put together a solid CB unit.Agreed. BK was hoping he could pull a Prosise 2.0 with Jafar which backfired.
And on a tangent, to show you how far along CB depth has come along, we actually cross trained Cam Freaking McDaniel at CB during the 2012 season. Our backup CBs that year were Josh Atkinson and Jalen Brown with Elijah Shumate playing slot corner/nickel. The fact that team even made the title game is astounding (but more likely speaks to how insanely good our front 7 was).
Rubio and Onye have eligibility into next season. I would think it'll be difficult for AK to crack the rotation. So I guess I was hoping to see something more out of Aidan K. this off-season. Is the silence telling? Or is there any hope he could make an impact in the future?
I mean, that's not really a fair or accurate depiction of how the roster was built to look. They brought in a highly sought after transfer in Amir Carlisle from USC. Huge win at the time. He had 47 carries in 2013. Just signed a stellar RB class with Folston and Bryant. Folston was very good as a true Freshman. He had 88 carries to Atkinson's 93.You guys remember when the backfield was Cam McDaniel and George Atkinson? Good times.
And I think that was with missing part of the year with mono or something, right? Or just wasn't used much. People really forget how good Folston was until he tore his ACL in the first game in 2015.Rubio and Onye have eligibility into next season. I would think it'll be difficult for AK to crack the rotation.

I think Armstrong had an abdominal injury and was never the same guy afterwards.Agreed. BK was hoping he could pull a Prosise 2.0 with Jafar which backfired.

That made him famous for a brief period
I'll never understand how we let Addidas have their logo in that location. Criminal.
Not sure I do. I would have wanted one of the freshman WRs (Flores or Greathouse) Tyree doesn’t seem tenacious enough.I like the idea of Tyree at punt returner
Eight yards doesn't sound like much but the odds of putting points on the board increases quite a bit based on where you start - it used to be something like 10% higher for every ten yards on your side of the field.Did anyone hear the II podcast last week when they talked about how useless punt returns are now?
The average number of returns per game was less than 1.5
The team that lead the nation in yards return average was like 8 yards per return.
Just catch the ball, don’t muff it.

If Mason was still here I'd guarantee a house call on a return this year with him. However with the new guy not going to go that farNot sure I do. I would have wanted one of the freshman WRs (Flores or Greathouse) Tyree doesn’t seem tenacious enough.
