My bad. He did well with Book. Besides that, it was awful. 2022 was position mismanagement.Who are you crediting Ian Book to, then? Just curious.
Rylie Mills at 306 is fully embracing a move inside. Which I think is best for both Rylie and Notre Dame.I’m not sure who is more jacked currently between Estime and Price. Price is a specimen as well.
Rylie Mills looks imposing. I need to go to the gym.
Position management and development aren't same thing right. My bad. He did well with Book. Besides that, it was awful. 2022 was position mismanagement.
8 - Tobias Merriweather still looks like he’s about six months away from the NFL. In reality, it’s about 150 college receptions (or ideally 200) and three years, but who’s counting.
9 - Merriweather’s gait and frame reminds me of Clemson’s Tee Higgins (not Cincinnati’s Tee Higgins, yet.)
That's exactly what i've said from the moment he left. The only reason it makes sense is to follow up saban, not for a better opportunity as an OC.The more I think about Hartman + this OL the more I question whether Rees going to Bama was the right long term move. He probably could've parlayed this upcoming season into a HC gig at a P5 school.
yeah end of campHas anyone heard any rumblings on potential captains this year? Do they announce them after camp?
No proof, but I think they send super chats to themselves in an attempt to prime the pump. They get tons of money in super chats every dang show.

I'd assume Alt, Bertrand, Hart, and Audric are pretty much locks. Curious if Hartman gets a nod as a one and done transfer, but he'll be a leader of this squad regardless.Has anyone heard any rumblings on potential captains this year? Do they announce them after camp?
I honestly don't think they need to do that.No proof, but I think they send super chats to themselves in an attempt to prime the pump.
I agree.I can't remember the last time there appeared to be so little competition across the depth chart at the start of camp (maybe I'm just overthinking this becasue there's no QB competition for once?). Seems like most of the youngsters will be vying for #2 spots, but outside of Safety (Watts/Henderson and Brown/Carter), and maybe nickel corner between Harper and Lewis, the defense seems pretty much set.
Offensively, maybe there will be some competition at WR if Greathouse, James or Flores could push someone like Merriweather or Colzie, but I don't see it, at least not initially. So, backup WR and RB will be interesting, TE may take some time to develop, but pretty much no drama across the board.
Mostly the same 10 or so people who send most of the super hats — often $20 or more at a pop, day after day. I know nobody who would throw money away at that clip. But there is also a possibility that I’m some combination of cheap and cynical. 🙂I honestly don't think they need to do that.
That seems odd. To me, you'd want your player leaders and those holding each other accountable to have a presence throughout fall camp. But that's just me.yeah end of camp

Thats what SWAT Captains are forThat seems odd. To me, you'd want your player leaders and those holding each other accountable to have a presence throughout fall camp. But that's just me.

Right I get that, and I'm sure most people know who to go to as far as captains. That said, there's credibility to having the "C" on your chest. Those who are captain material will lead throughout all of camp.
But I think captains are announced a couple weeks before the season starts.
Yup thisSome of them are parents of players.
Last year the Ademilola’s & another parent used to playfully compete by dropping increasingly larger amounts of money on the show. Sometimes $100 at a single superchat.
But they have a VERY loyal following.
That’s why I say it’s cultish.
I can’t stand listening to Driskell for more than 10 minutes at a time. He just yacks to hear himself. He’s actually pretty knowledgeable and thoughtful in his takes, but beats them to death for hours on end. Some of them are parents of players.
