I haven't heard anyone saying that Hartman practices poorly. I'm not taking Angeli as having a good day as Hartman had a bad one...Sampson tweeted out that Hartman was one of his standouts today (he had no mention of Angeli, FWIW).

Reports made it sound like Buchner was a practice God, but it just never really translated consistently on the field. Seems like he tends to press when the lights are shining, such as the Spring Game.

Joe Alt recently did a joint interview with Hartman, and Alt was raving about Hartman's practice habits. Said the dude never leaves the building.
Helps that Hartman only has one class as a graduate transfer 😅

At the risk of being that guy, I brought this up a long time ago when he first visited campus. He was much longer and lean than I think folks expected.

Now, I don’t think he’ll stay at Vyper, long term. But it seems like he’s going to be an “edge” player regardless.
He’s long and lean with enormous wingspan. All I want to see is him coming around the edge and messing some QBs up. We have other guys for bulk inside.

Have seen promising reports about the other walk-on, Faison, as well.
He looks like he moves well based on the clips.

I was also impressed by Flores, Greathouse, and Love. Those guys all move well out of cuts. Good to see Braylon with the athletic catch too, he’s got a good future ahead of him.

Terek, Houstan, and Bell all look like they have a bit of development before they see the field but there is some definite size and speed there.

Tyree has two more years correct? If so, that’s scary. He could become an elite WR if he’s as dedicated and progressing as stared.

Prister has some praise for Angeli and Love. I figured the RB depth would be deep, but it might be DEEP deep.

He was with the 1s; what's disappointing about one no pads practice?
Didn't do anything, per ISD, while the ususal suspects (Thomas, Greathouse, apparently Tyree did).

And just the fact that he's rail thin and had 1 catch last year. He needs to be a serious producer this year and I am just wondering if that's not in the cards at this point.

Merriweather is going to be your deep threat this year. Thomas/Greathouse are going to see the bulk of the targets within 15 yards of the LOS in my opinion. Tyree will be a gadget player moved all over.

I do not expect Merriweather to have more than like ~35 catches this year.

Some of those guys have such a difficult time gaining enough weight to play big time college football on the OL. It was just a couple years ago when Correll struggled to get to 300. I think he was playing center at 290, at one point.
If they come live with me and eat what I eat for a couple of weeks, I'd get them to their target weight in no time.

Do they have one? Not seeing a show or posts today.
They usually get back from practice, and send out pages & pages of their notes to people…then write up a review, then do a show.
It obviously takes them a while before they can get stuff out & do a show.

I just saw BD post. They’re going live at 5. Likely why they’re not being referenced.

I want to give my OPINION, so this isnt factual or said by anyone, just MY opinion…
I think Ty Chan could be a strong candidate to be the one who leaves after fall camp…or at least after the season.
Was out with the 3’s today, passed up by multiple freshmen, & was out of shape.
Not a good combo.

I like most of that.

I think Ford was getting too big too fast. We saw Khalid Kareem kind of go through that and come back better.

I actually like Traore at 237. I want him lean and on the edge. He’ll be needed there. He’ll be 245+ by next Fall Camp.

Mukam at 280 seems fake but that’s notable for future prospects of the interior.

Vernon at 6’4 7/8, 259 seems to officially settle where they will start. Vernon at Big End and Mukam at 3T. Fine by me.

Jagusah is 6’7 1/4, 330? I had no idea he was going to be a member of the 6’7+ club. Rare group.

Sneed at 222. Wu left ND at 215 and is 221 in the NFL now.

Ausberry quickly to 224. Those squats appear to be working ;)

Everyone’s favorite PWO, Luke Talich, officially listed at 6’3 5/8, 198 and he runs his 100M’s in the 10.7. Interest fully peaked.

Negatives:

I didn’t realize Micah Bell was so short. 5’9 1/2 will be hard to overcome for a full time CB. Seems like a lock for future Nickel CB.

As noted above Otting is quite small. Makes Ashton Craig look like a monstar.
I didn’t realize Absher is as big as he is.

Was it Gobaira who was having trouble adding weight? He’s listed at 6’ 4-5/8” and 256, it seems he’s getting to be good sized if so.

I’m not surprised that Chan is getting passed over. I was never super high on him and although his HS produces quite a few FBS kids, the lineman tend to not pan out.
