True. It should’ve just been one of those games one deems a “clunker”. Your team sleepwalks through a game vs a lesser team b/c they take them for granted. ND would always pull those out the past five years (Toledo, Vandy, etc).

Gotta win your “clunkers”. Georgia did that today vs Kent State. Arkansas did last week vs Missouri St. I think ND’s ceiling is 8-4 but they have to win their “clunkers” which look to be UNLV, Navy & BC at this point.

I’m just basing it on the four games they’ve played. Obviously, it’s subject to change. Others than a few busts, the ND D did a good job against a high octane offense. On offense, ND showed progress and did what they were supposed to do vs one of the worst D’s in the country. Definitely a lot to be hopeful about.
