Updated a few cancelations and one add.

The add of undefeated teams, 13 BYU at 18 Costal Carolina is a pretty good match at 5:30pm, and will be solid to bridge things after the ND game to the later games.

I have to admit that I have never heard of Coastal Carolina football and I am now going to go look up what a Chanticleer is. (edit: apparently it is a domestic cock).

from their site

Chanticleer comes from Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. More specifically, he comes from the Nun's Priest Tale, a story within Canterbury Tales. The Chanticleer is a proud and fierce rooster who dominates the barnyard. For the best description of Chanticleer, we turn to Chaucer's words. "For crowing there was not his equal in all the land. His voice was merrier than the merry organ that plays in church, and his crowing from his resting place was more trustworthy than a clock. His comb was redder than fine coral and turreted like a castle wall, his bill was black and shone like a jet, and his legs and toes were like azure. His nails were whiter than the lily and his feathers were like burnished gold." With all of his splendor and great looks, Chanticleer is also greatly feared and mightily respected by all.

App St coming back. Scored to bring to within 7, then Louisiana has more bizarre stuff happen and snap it over the punters head for a safety. 24-19 with App St getting ready to get the ball back with 8ish left.

The broadcast for OSU and MSU is similar to listening to a broken record. Announcers should go into games with more then one topic to discuss. Or discuss the game more. Game broadcasts shouldn’t be First Take or PTI.

They’ve talked more about OSU getting into the playoff if they’re undefeated then commenting on the game. It sounds like a local fan love fest.

Seemingly when ND plays teams looking to play spoiler, the broadcast roots for the story (upset) rather than slurp the favorite.

The current Ohio St game is a prime example of how the playoff can be bad for college football. It’s all or nothing. It’s the playoffs, and nothing else matters. The amount the talking heads use the word “playoff” can’t be a good thing. Does anyone think it makes the sport any more popular? It’s obviously about money only.

Watching Ohio State, I don't think Notre Dame should worry about them. They don't really look all that impressive.

Still the middle of the 3rd quarter, but the Aggies aren't looking very impressive at all, trailing Auburn 14-17.

Could shake things up. Sort of opens things up for Cinci I would think.

A&M has gone ahead 28-20 midway through the 4th, but they haven't looked impressive. Auburn isn't a very good team and struggling to beat them looks bad.

Mike Neu and Ball St look to have locked up their first winning season since 2013.. lol

One more win next week, and it's off to the MAC-C.

Washington down 21-3 vs Stanford, 4:33 left in the 2nd. Sheesh, Washington has not looked very good at all this year considering theyre 3-0 right now.

They came to Fargo a couple times when I was in college. Their coach at the time was the former CEO of TD AmeriTrade or something like that. I brought one of my finance textbooks to try and get an autograph if I could make eye contact with him lol.

The whole lovey thing is a little overdone at Indiana.

huh? they just went on the road and beat Wiscy without their starting QB. they took OSU down to the wire.

they haven't had a winning season in 12 years before last year, and this is only like their 3rd winning season in 25 years. not sure they've ever had a one loss year. they haven't had a 2 loss team since the 60s. add in coach with an Indy history, who lost his son for the year as well as his QB...

i mean, is there a more lovely story in CFB this year?

It's a very weak conference this year. Good on Indiana for taking advantage when they can. OSU is the only traditional power with a pulse in the B1G this year and they still allowed Rutgers' leading rusher 10 ypc.

meh. it's normal Big10 IMO.

OSU would still beat anyone outside of the current top 4 IMO. They may not "deserve" to go (based on their few games), but they are one of the 4 best teams.

If you're comparing conferences, aside from the SEC, which conference looks better than the Big10? It's highly debatable at best.

In terms of ranked teams... (and no, I'm not counting ND in the ACC's)

ACC - 3Clemson, 10Miami, 17UNC
Big10 - 4OSU, 12IU, 19Wiscy, 14NW, 16Iowa
Big12 - 9ISU, 11OK, 15OSU
PAC - 20USC, 22WA, 23 OR

The SEC has 4 top 10s, but aside from Bama, not sure any belong in the top 10. TAMU struggled to close vs Auburn today, and got shelled by Bama. FL, great O, D is not very good. UGA is anemic on O with huge Qs at QB.

VT giving me a lot of false hope right now....

I'd just love for the impossible to happen, and end up playing Miami in the ACC-C.
