They are expanding the board because they didn't like where they were for the amount of spots they expect to have open in 2019.

Could be exactly what you said... could be just the Sinclair to Stanford part.

Was waiting to see which way they are recruiting him. Long and Black followed him first. Most of his film is TE highlights.

BTW... He's a 6-6 lefty pitcher so factor that in.

The staff has been doing a great job this cycle on the defensive side of the ball and the offensive line; you can also see the hard work they're putting in to get receivers, tight ends, and a QB.

With that being said, I'd like to see them hit the running back recruiting a little harder. I don't mean that I want them to hit up some guys with a lot of star power. I just want to see them go after some guys that have a deep interest in ND. Kyren Williams seems very interested in Notre Dame and I think he'd have a lot of success in South Bend. Outside of Kyren? The staff hasn't got the ball rolling yet. They offered a few guys like King Doerue but that recruitment has been a ghost town.

I know its still early, but I find it hard to believe that won't be able to find a couple guys that would want to run behind our o-line. Offer Zonovan Knight and John Bivens.

Bivens, Brock and Garwo. Pair any of them with Kyren and I'm good.

ND is looking for punter this class with Yoon & Newsome leaving. From what I can tell on Kohl's Kicking & Chris Sailer rankings, the who's who of punters are Will Reichard (Bama Commit), Jay Bramblett from Alabama, and Austin McNamara from Arizona. Bramblett is the number 1 punter on Chris Sailer's rankings and would be an excellent addition.

Bramblett has been coached up by Mike McCabe at One on One Kicking. McCabe is about as good as they come when it comes to kicking.
