This is kinda it. Unless the voters just get fatigue, Texas will certainly turn purple. Beto had nothing going for him other than being a young moderately attractive man. No substance very little flash. If he had any charm, that neoliberal tool would've won.

Trump is meh. Personally, I love that he doesn't back down. Don't always enjoy the hill he fights on, but the fight is admirable. Looks like Republicans are maybe learning what it means to get in the mud with the pigs.

I am too. It's going to be (2016+2018) X 1000. I think it's just the new normal.

I'm glad this shit is over though, at least for now. As much as I enjoyed the intrigue tonight, I'm tired of all the shit. US politics is a F'ing embarrassment, and it has little to do with Orange Man. He's just a symptom.

And even with mid terms being over, things could amp up quickly. Pelosi is already taking her victory lap on CNN. If the dems have any sense, they'll can her now before she blows it for them in 2020. And we have the caravan to look forward too as well.
