What is this based off of? We beat them head to head, have a better lineup then we did when we beat them, and played better against the only other comparative competition.

From watching both of them every week. I just think they are a little better right now. ND should still be ahead of them for an poll/playoff situation and should be for as long as ND has 0 or 1 loss because of head to head and like opponent results.

Did you really just neg me because I think MI would win 6 outta 10 vs the Irish on a neutral field if both played like they have over the past few weeks? Congrats, you are neg #3 in 20k posts.

And it's you're, not your.

Margin of victory doesn't account for BK tucking it between his legs anytime we have a two score lead.

I would argue he's gotten a bit better about this recently, albeit probably because of Chip Long's influence.

Had this been last year, we may very well have given NU the ball back with a chance to win, rather than calling a killshot and scoring with Book, and we likely wouldn't have taken a 28-0 lead on Navy, because he wouldn't have been so aggressive on fourth down.

He's probably the most big-headed, stubborn coach in the country besides Urban Meyer, but he's sloooooowly changing the way he's doing things, and the results have been good.

While I believe Michigan would beat ND 6/10x if they played in Dallas today, as far as the CFP seeding goes... I'll have ND above Michigan until ND has more loses. Head to head trumps everything for me and Week 1 is equal to Week 12 in my eyes.

I kinda believe this as well. This is the type of defense who would eat Book up. They play man and play at the line. They will take away the 5 yard outs. You need to throw it over the top to burn them and BW was the perfect QB to do that.

I'd much rather play Clemson than Michigan again, I would play either over Bama who I don't think we have more than a 2% chance to beat

False!

You're top 10 (order) is the worst I've seen. I thought I was on some ESPN, SEC, or SCUM loving site for a second.

Whatever part-time!

You don't even know what my Top 10 represented.

The Crusader BTI is out.

The Crusader Best Team Index is calculated by how the Top 10 teams would finish playing only one another, in a 90 game, round robin schedule based on their last two performances. The CBTI automatically disqualifies 2 loss teams.

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Michigan
4. Georgia
5. Notre Dame
6. Oklahoma
7. W Virginia
8. Ohio State
9. Wash St
10. UCF

God Michigan fans are so damn dumb. Talking to one guy his argument Michigan would beat ND by 10 if they played again. Week 1 doesn’t count cuz Michigan was finding themselves

Not me...we need to take every opportunity to beat the crap out of 'fvck Michigan' that we can. I think our new offense with Book is the exact offense to beat that defense. Our WR/TE/Slots can get just enough separation for the three-step drop quick hits. Book will find the hot receiver when they blitz. This 'fvck Michigan' team feeds on QBs trying to wait for the receiver to come open on the intermediate and long ball. They would have to respect the pass which would open things up for Dex and Jafar. They also gamble a lot with over-pursuit which can be exploited. Now...of course we would need our special things to not trip on their dicks.

I feel ya. I actually think the ND lines are pretty much accurate except for scUM which I'd move down to ND+1, and for LSU, which I'd give ND-1.

All in all, I think this year (not this team) is similar to 2012 in that things have fallen our way. Teams we thought would be tough are not. scUM was the first game, and if people are honest, first games are always the absolute worst to stake your body of work on. If our OL was better, I'd be a lot more confident, or at least less pessimistic about our chances against the potential CFPers.

You're right.

We should have beat Michigan by more than we did.

But it was only our first game.

Subtract Bars and Wimbush.

Add Book and Dexter.

PS. I'll shut my mouth when Michigan beats a team worthy of respect this year.

Michigan St. Nope.

Wisconsin. Nope.

Penn St. Nope.

When We win the ship in January everyone will see your awareness. If we lose, It will happen because of Officiating. That's a promise.

IMO, both teams are very different now. I'd love to play them again.

LOL. Awesome that you already have your excuse ready.
I'd love for you to be right about winning the ship. I'd be more than happy to be wrong.

I agree. I think it would be a great game. The hype would be crazy. Notre Dame winning again. Michigan sending their newly printed "revenge tour" tees overseas.

It will definitely have to do with officials. Officials raising their arms signaling Bama touchdowns. I know we’re homers here, but I don’t see how you think we’d beat Bama, or Clemson for that matter. Anything can happen but the odds are not in our favor.

We do, next season. No need to play them again this season. Why would our players want to have to beat a team again

I'd love to play and beat scUM 12 games a year.

IMO, out of the potential first round opponents, scUM and OSU would be he best match ups for us. Would much prefer either of them to Clemson. Will be cheering hard for BC.

Wouldn't it be great in rematch situations if the team that won the first game started with the amount they beat other team by in the regular season game?

Sounds fair and I think Bobby Knight suggested it when they started the conf tourney which he hated... so of course it's a fantabulous idea.
