What Mixon did was horrible and inexcusable, but it appears to be an isolated incident. Cook has been reported to hang around with a less than ideal crowd, there were things that FSU apparently swept under the rug, and he scored "barely above literate" on the wonderlick. Add injury concerns to all that and you can understand why he's dropping. If all of the character concerns were bs I would think other front offices would have figured that out.

So while you may be willing to look past Mixons' "isolated incident", every GM in the league is docking him for it and some will not even consider drafting him regardless of how far he falls. Perhaps Cook is an ignorant knucklehead and that may well be why he has yet to be picked. I'm sure things he did at FSU were swept under the rug. In the Jimbo/Jameis years, that was SOP w the Administration and the local PD. No getting around they both deserve to slide and slide down the boards. Perfect example of stupidity costing big $.

Yeah I was on the SEPTA regional rail last night after our pick and all people were doing was bitching that we didn't take Allen, Hooker, or Foster. Barnett gets knocked a lot for his athleticism but his first step sensational. I think he turns into a Trent Cole caliber player who averages 8-12 sacks every season which i'm perfectly ok with.
