3rd overall is too high, I agree. I think he's better than any QB in the draft though, and he's only 25.

NFL won't let me embed, but he did not look like a system QB out there.....kid is very legit IMO.

IMO kid's not worth a 1st round pick. 5 years of controlling a guy for under market value is worth way more than the 2.5 games of tape we've seen on Jimmy. He's actually worth closer to a high 3rd or a 2nd, but due to him being a QB, he'll go for more, but I doubt a 1st is traded for him.

Then y'all should keep him.

I already said I wanted to last page, but I don't see any scenario where they can given his contract expires at the end of 2017. Brady doesn't seem to be slowing down. Jimmy will be too expensive to franchise tag in 2018, and I doubt he's going to want to stay on as a backup for who knows how long making average money while waiting for Brady to finally slow down. It could be one year it could be five.

Charley Casserly put out his first mock yesterday (he's pretty good at these) and he has only one QB going round one. Mitch Trubisky to Buffalo.

I understand that the QBs may not have first round grades, but it would be shocking with the rookie scale contracts if at least two didn't get picked with so many quarterback needy teams out there.

History shows that when it comes to QB's even the smartest GM's lose their minds and don't think rationally. There's always one who thinks a particular QB is better than he really is, or they go after a kid with only one good year under his belt and no real track record to evaluate.

Ryan Leif, Brock Osweiler, Johnny football, etc., etc., etc...

Looks like Jarron, Kizer, and Rochell are the only guys who got an invite this year.

1.) Garrett
12.) Best Safety left at 12... if it looks like both Hooker and Adams aren't going to last that long trade up... must get one of the two...
2nd Round.) Best QB left

I assume they are making a run at one of the FA corners this year too... among others...

I don't think either safety will make it to 12 and I think analytics will say that trading up to get one is too costly. So i'd go

1 Garrett
12 Kizer
33 Budda Baker

Or take someone else at 33. One of the first rounders that falls to the second every year and take Eddie Jackson in the 3rd. I absolutely love Jackson and think he would be in that first group of 3 safeties had he not gotten injured this year.

If they take a QB with either of their first two picks, or trade one of those picks for one... I'll personally hunt you down just so I can slap the bitch out of you myself....

Speaking of Kizer going #12, anyone have any other predictions?

No clue who will take him, but I think he goes very late in the 1st with a team trading up to take him like the Vikings did with Bridgewater a couple years ago.

Could almost see something where the Pats and Browns swap picks #32/#33 to let the Browns take Kizer and get the 5th year controlling option, and then Cleveland throws in a mid-round pick (or they swap picks in another round).

I could see Baker working/interviewing himself into the first round.

People keep talking about the D line talent in this class, but man this draft is loaded with saftey talent.

Malik Hooker
Jamal Adams
Jabrill Peppers
Budda Baker
Obi Melifonwu
Justin Evans
Eddie Jackson

The Browns HAVE to walk away with at least one of these guys.

Thought I'd post this here instead of Kizer's thread or starting a combine thread.

Awesome to hear. Even though I'd be hesitant to pick him at 3, I still wish all the best for Kizer. If he falls a la Rodgers though and the Pack picks him, he's dead to me

I'll pretty much root for any team where an ND guy lands, minus the Steelers.

Just can't do it.

Still bummed out that Tuitt is now a mortal enemy.
