Hubbard 2.0? I know nothing about the kid, but it sounds like a familiar story.

This kids from Long Island, I'll keep my eyes open. I was speaking to a few guys who coached against him in lacrosse who said he was an average player, but a plus athlete. Apparently he's blowing up as a quarterback with recent Miami and Michigan offers. He plays some of the best lacrosse teams in the country, but Long Island football is lacking in talent and competition for sure.

FL QB Jake Allen wants to attend Irish Invasion. Checking with his coach to see if this can happen. Low rated but seems to be picking up some offers.

St. Xavier 2017 four-star QBSean Clifford will be camping at Notre Dame this summer. That is the team he grew up rooting for and he said his family would definitely be excited to see that offer come through. Not necessarily a done deal if they offer--team to beat though

Could he and Matt Bockhorst be class of '17 'twins'? His offer list is impressive considering he wasn't the starting QB all season and isn't in a system that puts up monster numbers. He must have shown out well on the 7v7 and camp circuit so far this year. I hope Sean doesn't mind the slow play he will receive from the staff because it's obvious they are going after Hunter Johnson. Tough position for a 4 star kid to be in if his heart is set on playing for his favorite team.

That's great. Seems the Irish are in great early position on a lot of '17 QB's that seem like RKG's. Wish I had a better "media feel" on Hunter Johnson. He's holding his cards well so far and he should, he's got four aces. If he dominates this fall now that he and Brownsburg are in the MIC with Ben Davis Warren Central and Carmel he's probably going to be #1 overall and 1.000 rater.

As updated in the visitors thread we had Four-star DB Jonathan Sutherland and Four-star DE Luiji Vilain on campus saturday. From Sutherland and his BGI interview the visit went well. He considers Vilain a brother and the plan is to go to school together. They are academic first kids and will be returning to ND for II in hopes of landing offers. I'd offer both at camp and try to make a big impression. ND caliber players for sure and students as well from what I've read.

247 lists 17' DE Luiji Vilain as the alpha dog at the R.A.S Showcase in Fort Wayne over the weekend. He took that home over the likes of Auston Robertson and Romeo McKnight. Footage below.

Lucky, what do you think of Eskridge? He won overall MVP at the camp after winning the state 200 meter dash (21.39, beating Isaiah Thomas the winner from the year before) and placing second in the 100 meter dash (10.77) on Friday before the camp. (Enis didn't even make it past the prelims in the 100, placing 24th, so you know that's some serious speed on display.)

I think a kid like that should have more options than just WMU and Ball State.

Thats some pretty good tape for a kid that has so little interest. From looking at his physique at this recent camp and last season he seems to have filled out which os probably benefiting him currently. Hard runner, good balance, very good speed, and what appears to be good ball skills. I'd say he's an interesting candidate to pair with Jones as an APB. I haven't really looked into possible APB's yet but he'd be in that category as Rico Dowdle. However, I probably like Rico's tape more.

Mansfield, Ohio junior safety Tyrell Ajian grew up following Ohio State but early offers from Michigan and Notre Dame could challenge his Buckeye pride.
The Wolverines offered in March and the Irish made their bid for Ajian on Sunday.
“I talked to coach (Mike) Elston and he said they liked me on film and like what my coaches had to say about me,” said Ajian, a 6-foot-1, 185-pounder. “I feel great about the offer. It’s such a great school.”
Cincinnati, Miami (Ohio), Tennessee and Toledo have also offered while Ohio State and Michigan State could be close.
Ajian will make his first trip to South Bend on Friday when he participates in the Irish Invasion.
“I want to improve and do the best I can in all the events,” he said. “I’m looking forward to being on the campus and meeting some coaches.”
Ajian has already visited Toledo, Michigan, Ohio State and Michigan State. He doesn’t have any other visits on his summer schedule.
Early in the recruiting process, three schools have caught Ajian’s attention.
“Schools sticking out too me are Notre Dame, Ohio State and Michigan State,” he said. “(It’s) just the schools in general, academics and tradition with football.”
As a sophomore, Ajian picked off five passes and also played wide receiver, Wildcat quarterback and returned punts and kickoffs.
He believes his speed and athleticism are among his best attributes.
“I think I play fast and aggressive,” he said. “I can play the ball in the air well and keep my composure.”
Ajian will arrive in South Bend on Friday and is scheduled to depart the following morning.

My high school is about 10 minutes or so from Tyrell's and our schools play each other every year. I've never seen him play football in person, but he is a pretty solid basketball player too. I know he is a pretty big buckeye fan from people who know him, but it does sound like he has some interest in Notre Dame. I do have a family member on his high school football team's coaching staff so if I here anything positive regarding ND and Tyrell I will definitely post it here, but I would guess this kid will be a Buckeye when it's all said and done.

TE Cole Kmet was offered this morning. With Brock Wright already on board, I would assume this means the staff is skipping the 2016 class and will take 2 next cycle

Notre Dame has offered Suwanee (Ga.) Peachtree Ridge safety Deangelo Gibbs. The 6-2, 207-pound rising junior is rated as a five-star in the class of 2017, ranked as the No. 8 player nationally and the No. 1 safety in the country.

Notre Dame saw him twice in the spring evaluation period

I wrote his bio up a couple of weeks ago and I'll post it when I get done watching me some Minions with the kiddos.

Great, great offer!
