There are so many bowls, now, can we really still use this as a measure of quality? You only need 6 FBS wins to qualify for a bowl.

With today's bowl lineup, you could interchange "be bowling" with "have a 0.500 season" and it doesn't sound as sexy, right?

Yes, you can use that... how many other teams can say that many bowl teams are on their schedule, I'd be curious to know.

This is so fucking depressing. Two weeks ago we were talking about playoff matchup. Last week we were thinking of who we could handle in a NY6 bowl. Now we've backed our way into ACamp being pumped to see us in the freaking Sun bowl.

Disgusting.

Is the Citrus Bowl no longer an option? Don’t get my wrong with the bad luck we have had playing in the state of Florida I would take the Sun Bowl but there are prolly more eyeballs on the Citrus Bowl and if we win we may get a little more respect for that one.

Citrus vs South Carolina
Camping World vs Iowa State

The most fitting end to this particular season would be the Camping World Bowl against Iowa State. That sounds like fate.......

So, same stadium just three days apart. Might be in Florida over the holidays so, on a personal level, I would be alright with this so I could attend. Wonder what other options are possible.

Bad luck in Florida? They're 0-4 in AZ since I moved here in 2000.

Not that I think this should happen because this team has looked like garbage over the last 3 weeks and we would get stomped, but the last NY6 spot will probably come down to Notre Dame and TCU. If TCU gets blown out, you could make an argument for ND as our SOS is much better and TCU will have had only 1 top 25 win over OkSt.

All the coaches are garbage except maybe Elko and he sucked the last 3.5 games. All they deserve is a cold trip to dreary El Paso!

Like I've said a number of times, going from SB to a warm, humid climate in December is hard on the body. When I returned home during Winter breaks, it took me a day to breathe normally because the air just felt thicker. Exercise sucked because you got tired quickly. It takes some time to adjust.
