Farrell is completely out of gas. His legs are gone, and just straight up making bad decisions.

I think TJ needs more touches right now.

Djogo wide open, Gibbs! Should have gone for the 3 anyways. No way this team would have survived another OT - they are without legs.

Ya that’s true needed to win there

Terrible terrible loss. Not only did we lose this game but Harvey will be out for awhile according to brey.

Chances of us making tourney have now dropped significantly

It's more of a body loss. All due respect to Harvey (he is going to be a great player) but he wasn't exactly winning them games.

It's more of a bruise to the development of himself and next year's team.

Yep! Damn, ND had a good shot at the NC win and the Louisville win and would have been limping thru at 5-1 in the conf., but ....

These guys just can't manufacture offense - credit to the paid players and interim coach for putting length on Farrell - expect that to be copied. Gotta run the offense and get back to flowing for open shots without waiting until shot clock is running out to throw up a prayer. Much rather have an open, set look from our 4th option than our #1 option flinging up crap with a seven footer in their dish. Really bad offensive sets for final possessions - expect more of Brey.

ACC officiating is a freaking embarrassment. It isn't just us, plenty of other games are poorly officiated. For the premier basketball conference to have some of the worst officiating is pretty pathetic. TV Ted needs to be put out to pasture. We still should have been able to overcome it the last two games but damn.

Loved the announcers (by loved I mean groan worthy horrible) and their take on the FBI investigation "we don't know anything" - BULLSHIT we know Louisville is dirty and facilitates payment to get recruits.

Still plenty of ACC play left - we will be better with Farrell as long as he doesn't hog the ball too much. We will shoot better than we have the last three games. Effort, defense and rebounding are a constant and as long as we have that I think we to .500 in the ACC which will lock up a tourney bid.

@ Duke
@ NCST

@VA

Only ones I would mark as L are @VA and @ Duke - everyone else needs to show up for a street fight.

While it sucks (potentially) losing Harvey... I'm going to focus on the one positive for next year, if Harvey is done, this means Djojo will be getting some serious minutes (like last nights 29 minutes).

Both Harvey and Djojo need the experience this year, but I could argue that Djojo could have the most to benefit given his "rawness". DJ is the type of talent that could go just "ball out" next season (assuming good recovery) given his natural talents, and another year of S&C.

But, most optimistic of all, let's wait and see what the prognosis is for DJ. Hoping for some good news, but bracing for bad.

Agree on PT benefits. Harvey was already starting to flourish as he got more comfortable out there and was relied on to score. Defensively he has stepped it up too - overall quick to develop into a contributor. Djogo - yeah, raw is a good way to put it. Seasoning will help him settle into his shots - you can see the scoring potential for sure.

That’s actually a good break we got, the way he looked last night when he fell it looked season ending. One month isn’t bad.

I do like that djogo will be getting a ton of PT. He can defiantly shoot the ball and it will give him more experience.

I think next year the media will think our team will be average but with Harvey getting PT and djogo and Mooney getting a ton of time then Rex and Gibbs coming back add in our recruiting class and can’t wait to see Durham play. Could be a good year next year too. Unfortunate with this year with all the injuries but defiantly helps the future

Another positive note about next year, Juwan Durham is no "average" incoming player. He's bringing a lot of D1 practice experience with him for sure. Should be fun to watch him grow.

Irish got off to a rough start vs Clemson, but had a nice run to close the half and get it down to a 3 pt deficit. Mooney had his best half of his career, going 4-5 from the field with 10 points and 4 boards. Going to need Farrell (who was scoreless this half) to play better to have a chance.

Farrell with 6 pts is unacceptable. He’s supposed to be a leader and he is just jacking shots up and not helping the team.

Also this had to be the worst commentated broadcast I’ve ever seen. I love dick vitale but my god it just kept getting worse and worse

Pflueger is still terrible.

Mooney has to play extended minutes just to give us another credible scorer.

There are combinations of players we're seeing that I literally just go, "We'll be lucky to score the next few minutes."

Farrell is trying too hard, but he got severely exposed on the defensive end today. I was surprised to see us stay man after Grantham went down.

To Clemson's credit, when we got close, they hit a big shot. Every time.

If Geben could turn off his right shoulder, he'd be really, really good. He can't though, and you saw Clemson take that move away, even when there was a mismatch in the post.

I'd like to see more of Burns, if for no other reason as to see less of Torres.

Losing Harvey kills our rotations. Unless Matt and TJ play 40 minutes, any sub you bring in kills our perimeter game.

Pflueger is just bad offensively. He reminds me of an Arizona player a few years ago, Hollis-Jefferson. Not nearly as gifted physically, but a really good defensive player with almost no offense.

Getting into the Tourney is starting to look like a long shot. To their credit, they are competing against good teams.

Pflueger is one of the best defenders in the ACC but he still struggles shooting the ball. Farrell is trying to do too much with Bonzie & Harvey out.

Ironically, ND is rebounding better than ever.

Hoping for a surge to eke out a Tourney invite.
