Tough way to lose. They played well enough to win most of the game but had some bad stretches that didn't allow them to pull it out. Geben was really good, Gibbs was good, Djogo hit some big shots. Questionable job by the men in stripes down the stretch, especially when Gibbs got hit in the face and arm on the put back attempt that was as much of a foul as he was called for on Berry.

This sucks, but it may be what we needed without Bonzi.

Add another scorer when Farrell comes back. Man, we are going to be really good. This year, and next.

Not only were we arguably better we out rebounded the best team in the COUNTRY by 8 rebounds. We had 45 rebs!! 45! 20 offensive rebounds! 20!!

UNC is not a good shooting team to begin with but you have to give some credit to our D. Rex switching to Maye was awesome - Maye had 13 points and 9 rebounds in the first half - finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Love watching Rex defend - Maye is a damn good player and has a ton of size on Rex.

Out rebounding them was the big story - if these guys keep attacking the glass and defending like this, I have no worries about Brey figuring out some offense as Farrell comes back and the rest settle in a bit. Feels like Djogo could take off for 15 points some night if he gets in a groove.

Really hope Brey keeps the deep lineup going.

Yeah - Gibbs foul at the end was garbage - he was straight up, but then to no-call with even more contact on the other end? Completely inconsistent with the rest of the game which was no-call on those types of plays all day but when they are back to back at the end of the game you have to be consistent.

This season has been a mess, but, I was gaining confidence for next year. Losing Harvey hurts team development, bigly.

This officiating is really getting out of hand right now. Usually when your home you get some calls but we litterally haven’t got anything go our way. Also fuck valentine he never officiates our way
