I mean it is what it is. It's not the politics I want to see. It's not the country I want to live in. And when there's common ground (like on the infrastructure plan) I still don't think it's worth it.
But you can't have one party trying to engage in good faith and one party who takes their ball and goes home every time they're not up to bat. The GOP set the standard: The GOP's no-compromise pledge - POLITICO and if those are the rules of the game they want to use, I don't see why dems should just lie back and take it.
Then enjoy 8yrs of Trump.
And the new SCOTUS.
Big difference this time is there is ALOT more on the line.
