Not sure your post has anything to do with what you hilighted in my post.

The headline read eliminating "immigrant detention." He has merit and brings up a point in putting our own people in prison at record rates.

Now read my responding question again.

Maybe build a huge wall across private property, native land, across rivers, mountains and all paid for by Mexico... There's some logic...

Reagan believed in amnesty, btw...

Private property that belongs to us, land that belongs to us...yeah I'm ok with exploring that option.

Mexico paying for it? Doubtful.

No... Private property owned by private citizens. Native land owned by native people.

In one breath you dog the costs of Bernie, but in another support a completely ridiculous idea of building an incredibly expensive wall. One they'll just tunnel under, btw.

It is likely to be a cost savings if it means we can building prisons to keep up with the steadily growing demand.

So instead of spending money that we don't have on new prisons, we will be spending money we don't have on operating them?

1) Are you saying the US legally CANNOT build a wall/ fence on their border if they wanted to?

2) Read again: I said I'd like to explore the option.

3) What will cost more in the long run: illegal immigration or building a wall? Please enlighten me.

His crime proposals I've heard him talk about have been to end the war on drugs and let nonviolent offenders out of jail. If anything we have a lot of empty prisons for when the zombie apocalypse happens. Prison worked well in the Walking Dead for nearly two full seasons. :) it's just good solid planning.

It's worth noting how fiscally detrimental Trump's immigration stance is.

He wants to build a fence that would cost billions.

He wants to deport all illegal immigrants. That would cost around half a trillion dollars. It would also drop real GDP by $1.6 trillion and 5.7%.

I am not Trump's spokesperson. He's not my first choice. I said it was worth exploring. What's been happening since the mid 80's can't continue.

The GDP dropping argument is one of the dumbest I've ever seen you make on here. As for the rest: are you now fiscally conservative? You're appalled by Trump's immigration ideas and the costs, but Bernie Sanders' plans don't bother you at all? lol

1) I didn't say legally, there is eminent domain. Some of it would involve essentially taking land from people against their will, including native Americans. The other side is that is quite difficult to build a 1900 mile walk through lakes, rivers and mountains. Especially when the worst part of illegal immigration (human trafficking, drugs, etc) are happening through tunnels anyway.

2) Why don't you do that first.

3) How do you know? I honestly don't believe that you have done any research on the true costs of immigration and you readily admit that you have no idea what a wall like this would cost or be feasible.

These debates involve way too much Trump bashing. Shit's getting old. Don't tell me why you hate Trump, tell me why I should vote for you.

I still say if the GOP were smart(hehe) they'd push a Kasich/Rubio ticket down the throats of the primary voters... That could be a capable and winning ticket in the Nationals... But,.... Trump, Carson, Carli... Yes!... Smh, I so hate both parties these days

It seems like the only reason the female moderator is even there is to set up and insist answer on preceived 'gotcha!' questions...

She killing it tonight. She scored tons of points with that answer and her last one when she got choked up about planned parenthood. Good shit.

I want Trump to stay in the race as long as possible just to make faces when Jeb Bush speaks.

Christie answered her like 4 times lol

She was clearly fishing for a 'Christie says he will shut down government to kill women' headline, also loved the question, 'what's wrong speaking Spanish' question, so clearly coming at this with a paint brush

Rand or Cruz need to speak up. I'm pretty sure they're the only ones who understand the jurisdiction clause of the 14th Amendment.

Edit: Thanks Rand.

Inclined to agree, she's been impressive tonight, tho her demand of Trump a minute ago was kind of silly...

IMO... I like Carson personally, but he really isn't good at this debate thing, he's looked bad... Trump hasn't been the best, typical stupid attacks and insults...

Carli, Rubio, Kasich all seemed strong IMO... Really surprised by CF as I'm not that big on her...

Hope that helps Sureal.
