No because the Clinton's only want one thing and that is money. Their actions indicate that they are obsessed by it. Plus HRC in particular has done absolutely nothing during her political career that indicate she has any talent what-so-ever to accomplish anything.

The Clintons as a pair could make as much money in an evening giving a speech as they would in one year as President. If they're in it for the money, they're doing it wrong. They could go back to the board of Walmart of something if they wanted to roll in the dough.

They want power and legacy, in my opinion.

I agree with you that Clinton's resume doesn't have noteworthy accomplishments, and yet I think it is also objectively true that she is the most prepared candidate since George HW Bush.

Trump is down by 10 points in the latest Fox News poll. The polling period didn't include any of this week's shit show.

Libertarian town hall on CNN right now.

Edit: My mind is made up, I'm voting for Gary Johnson. He's a turd but he appears to be neither evil nor insane and that's more than I can say for the other two.

Johnson's stance on religious liberty is an embarrassment to anyone who calls himself a libertarian, or understands the notion of freedom of association. Write in the American Solidarity Party instead.

Just my opinion, but that article is a vague opinion piece with a link to the real article. The interview they linked, which I linked below. This is an interview where he conversationally addresses his views on religious freedom vs discrimination. I linked it so everyone can read it for themselves and make their own determination. I personally agree with him and think the original article grossly compares it to Jews refusing to make a Nazi cake. Which is a terrible analogy considering there is only one religion being addressed. The Nazi isn't reflecting a religious conviction, but rather a social conviction. So it's not remotely the same thing.

I'm not arguing one way or the other, I have my view on the matter. I only ask that you read the interview and all decide for yourself.

Hewlett-Packard Is Laying Off Up To 33,300 Workers

I was listening to talk radio today and more than a handful of HP employees who are currently being laid off called in to rip the sh!t out of Meg Whitman. They all claimed the only reason she is against Trump is because he is claiming to want to stop the very thing she is currently doing at HP. If you read down this old Huff Post article, they mention moving jobs to lower cost areas i.e. outsourcing work overseas. It was actually sad because most sounded like they were totally screwed because they were like a year or two from either full pensions or being fully vested. Sounded like they targeted every option to save the most dollars. Most were over 60 yrs old so it will be difficult for them to find work going forward.

It is kinda funny how things play out...earlier in the election cycle Carli Fiorina was awful, horrible, and evil for her responses to a serious downturn. Given whitman's decisions...in an "economic recovery" mind you, I wonder if her feet will be held to the fire by the same folks for any of this...

Team Trump in real time:

http://nyti.ms/2aA3Av2

Pretty disgusting folks out there for sure.

Media still doesn't get it though...none of this is changing anyone's mind...and the more shit they throw at Trump, the more entrenched his people get.

He shouldn't win unless Hillary finally fatigues her support...but SURPRISE! There is a segment of the population who will vote for Trump because thats the person they will remember when they draw the curtain...any coverage is good coverage type deal.

Smartest thing media could do is swear off covering his antics...right now he gets that vote for free.

What should concern people who hate Trump is that Hillary has a scandal a week...if Hillary being herself kills motivation for her people to vote, things might get dicey.

I agree. He's no small-l libertarian. However, I think he's a pretty reliable federalist and I don't think he'd do anything as POTUS that would allow his personal feelings on religious liberty to influence legislation. I'm more comfortable with him as POTUS than as Governor, for example.

Never heard of them. The difference is that Gary Johnson could actually win. It's an uphill battle but a non-zero chance. If he can get to 15% in the polls and ends up on the debate state with The Orange God King and Pant Suit Lucifer, he'll look real appealing to a lot of people. It could be a strange and wonderful coalition of the gays, the stoners, the doves, and the #NeverTrump conservatives.

Thats funny...yea I got it.

If Mrs Clinton was not Negligent, what was she then? Oh thats right she was "extremely careless" you got me Bogs...

Here is the law I apparently didn't read:

793(f) of the federal penal code (Title 18).
(f) Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense, (1) through gross negligence permits the same to be removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of his trust, or to be lost, stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, or (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, or lost, or stolen, abstracted, or destroyed, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.

I know what Comey did...or better I know the escape hatch he used...but don't tell me I am extrapolating, or I didn't read this...If anything YOU didn't.

Yeah I did.

This is just plain asinine. The fact is that Fitzgerald knew the source of the leak shortly after starting the investigation as Richard Armitage basically came forward. Fitzgerald got a bug up his ass because the press would not divulge there sources. Heck he even put that liberal NY Times reporter in jail for a while. Then he got stuck and to justify all the time and money spent on the investigation so he indicted Libby. He must have been really proud of himself for that one.

I guess next you are going to tell us that the CIA under the direction of Bush were flying the planes into the WTC.

Why thank you so very much! Anything, anything at all.

And of course this allows everyone to see the whole thing for what it was. Scooter took an idiot (Armitage) and fall guy, and used that information to attempt to endanger a field asset for the actions of her husband. Instead of doing the intended damage, dozens of sources the asset recruited were killed.

At any rate, these two issues are not even close to being on similar levels.

What will Johnson do with the opening on the Supreme Court? I'm assuming he'd go with somebody on the side of pro-choice and after reading the Federalist article, I'm thinking that religious liberty isn't very high on his list of priorities.

Not a big fan, though he's certainly the lesser of two evils between him and Hillary. Trump's stated platform is pretty clear on this matter. I don't care for the man, but he's willing to at least publicly support the unborn's right to life. I'm not sure I trust that he does care, but that's another issue.

Johnson has zero percent chance of winning. He has to win electoral votes to even be a factor. Finishing second or third in a bunch of states does him no good. He has to be able to win some states to get electoral votes and prevent Trump or Clinton from getting to 270. There is no way he wins 270+ electoral votes. He won't even be able to win enough electoral votes to stop Trump or Clinton from winning the election outright. He can be disruptive and create a situation where either Clinton or Trump is elected with as little as 40% of the vote, but he won't win a single state.

For those of you who plan to waste your vote on Johnson, what states do you see him winning? I don't see a single state he can win. He will have difficulty getting to 15%. Without that he won't even be in the debates. Even if he makes it into the debates, he's a long way from winning any states.

I'll be voting for him but don't think he has a realistic shot at winning. I don't view it as throwing my vote away as I would like to see another viable party emerge. The only way that happens is if people stop having the attitude that there are only two choices. Essentially, I'm in it for the long haul and believe 2020 is going to be even crazier after four years of whichever lunatic wins. Johnson having a good showing this year may make a 3rd party more viable next time.

.

For me, it's not about him winning. I cannot, will not, vote for either of the major party nominees. They are both disgusting, despicable people in their own unique ways. I will vote for a third party candidate as a protest vote. I know some will hate that, but it's the way my voice can be heard. If enough people do that, maybe(i'm not hopeful, but maybe) the major parties will see they need to make some changes.

The biggest hurdle is making a debate, I agree with you on that. But IF he makes a debate, I think you're vastly underestimating the amount of hatred people feel towards both Trump and Clinton.

Does he really though? He became pro life about a year or two ago. He was pro choice right up to the time he decided to plot a takeover of our county unde a Republican flag. If the political shoe was on the other foot, I have no doubt he be running as a democrat.

Kevin D. Williamson with the zinger of the election cycle so far:

Obama: Donald Trump ‘Unfit to Serve as President’ -- He’s Right | National Review

Trump later showed off a Purple Heart medal someone gave him, saying he’d “always wanted to get the Purple Heart” and that this method was “much easier” than, say, earning one in combat. Trump, a draft-dodger whose disabling bone spurs seem to have disappeared (mirabile dictu) once bragged that evading sexually transmitted diseases over the course of what he promises has been a somewhat exotic sex life was his “own personal Vietnam,” so perhaps he believes he earned that Purple Heart at the Battle of Poontang.

Thank you for such a shining example of why our system is so fucked up. It's this attitude that voting for a winner is more important than voting for the candidate you think will do the best job that has led to our government being so dysfunctional. No one can vote for a loser, now can they? "Oh, you voted for THAT guy?" *snicker, snicker* Thanks for your contribution to this shitstorm.

Considering Hillary's views, I'd rather take Trump on the issue of abortion, which is the greatest evil in our country. The key is whether I can stomach the rest of him or not.

I hear ya, but I don't believe Trump when he says that he is pro life. He went decades as a staunch pro choice guy. Like a lot of his platform, I don't think he will honor his word. His nominee wouldn't be picked on their abortion stance, they'll be picked on how Trump can manipulate him and it would most definitely be one of his cronies. Which by the way, after decades of being a NY liberal, also happen to be NY liberals.

Pick your poison I suppose.

The last time a third party candidate was a factor, we ended up with George W. Bush as our president. Through lies and manipulation of public opinion, Bush took us to war. Nader took enough votes away from Al Gore in Florida to hand the presidency to Bush. We ended up in the Iraq War and ISIS emerged from the ashes. Do we really want to repeat that mistake?

Trump's shoot first-ask questions later style will have us using the military to exact his petty revenge. The man is a time bomb waiting to go off, much too volatile to have as the Commander in Chief of the most powerful military in the world. I'm not a big fan of Hillary, but if she is the only way to keep Trump away from the Oval Office I will be voting for her, not wasting my vote on Johnson as some sort of protest vote. However, if somehow Trump self-destructs and has no chance of being elected and Johnson is polling near 40% I will take a closer look at voting for Johnson.

Wow, the number and magnitude of logical fallacies in this small paragraph alone are astonishing. Ralph Nader caused ISIS? For real?
