Matt Heuerman

Familiar last name? Taller than his brothers.

Said he's heard from OSU a lot and ND and Michigan a little as well. Was at Michigan today so I suppose it's possible he could be coming to ND this week too.

Per Steven

5 star OL Ben Bredenson from Koon and GB territory is visiting Monday or Tuesday. ND could "sneak in" if offered

Is 255 lbs for an OL to be going into their junior season?

I think you're missing an adjective. Hard to answer your question without knowing if you want to know if it's good or bad.

Either way, I think he probably weighs more than 255 now, and he will probably continue to add substantial mass before he gets to college.

A kid who is a top ten tackle weighing only 255 tells you that probably none of it is bad weight.

Per II we'll have had 4 of the top 2016 QB's on campus in a few day span. Pass, Henry, Eason, and Haskins.

I'm so over '15 QBs. All in on the Golson / Zaire / Kizer train until one of these '16 studs gets to ND.

Yes sir, agree 100%. Use that scholarship for one of these skill players that has high interest in ND.

How would u guys feel about a guy like Tommy Stevens for '15 as a "depth" QB addition?

At this point I personally want the scholarship flexibility to add a player at another position. PWO is the way to go, IMO. With that said I think the staff should continue to evaluate 2015 kids as maybe there is a Kolin Hill out there that hasn't gotten the playing time until this year or was a late bloomer.

So, in the event that we do not get a QB in the class, would that mean that Kizer would be the scout QB for two years?

Most likely a preferred walk-on QB will be scout team QB. Montgomery Van Gorder is a prime candidate.

I wouldnt like it be honest, we have tons of 5th year guys that could be asked back and plenty of more targets to fill up the 2015 class. Why waste a scholarship on someone that will likely never see the field.

Stidham or bust in my opinion. Unless a big name comes into play late.

Notre Dame offered OT Josh Myers from Ohio. He's a '17 recruit but has some very impressive offers for just being a sophomore: Notre Dame, Michigan State, West Virginia, Tennessee, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, and Florida.

I know it's early, but it's a name a to keep an eye on

Ethan Tucky, Austin Mack and Dwayne Haskins should all be on campus today per Loy.

Good list right there. I hope, if he doesn't already, that Tucky gets offered along with Mack. Woe really like for them to be in next years class. As far as QB goes, I have no idea which one we will get, as of right now, I like Shea Latterson from LA. He is committed to AZ, but I know he at least has some interest in us.

Kinda hope Haskins isn't there to baby sit and push for OSU. Either way I would expect offers to go out to Mack and Tucky pretty quick. Finding guys early from the Midwest that have big time talent seems like the start of a very good class.

I agree and I really like how hard the staff is hitting the Midwest this year. I hope it is the norm moving forward. You are right that it gives a nice foundation to start off the class. Think about getting Eichenberg, Kraemer, King, Hayes, Mack, Tucky, and Robertson. They are all from the core group of states in the Midwest that ND has the most success. This would be ideal, but is actually reasonable.

With all of the talent in the midwest in 2015 and 2016, kind of a nice timing to have the Shamrock series in Indiana.

I hope they capitolize.

And I will be there for it! Hopefully I'll get to see a few recruits about.

Myers told ISD he might visit Bama, but he might not. Otherwise he has no visits planned. We are clearly high on his list to have already gotten him on campus.

He's built like a senior as a freshman. The kid will be freaky good. He also seems to have a really good head on his shoulders as a youngster.
