Day 4 and we have a DL with a potential major foot injury. Classic.

Anyone see Cage destroy Mustipher on Zaire's run?

Who's the dip that hit Stepherson late, tried pulling a Joe Schmidt and end a teammates season.

I'm sure he didn't have bad intentions but yeah, you don't want to be laying any aggression after the whistle/play in practise on the smallest player on the team/true Frosh WR.

Couple of thoughts from the vid:

0:10 - ESB still looks rail thin. He made a nice play against Love there, but I worry how he'll hold up through a full season and especially against MSU's hyper physical CBs.

0:19 - It's only one rep, but Trumbetti may be finally cutting loose like BK asked. He looks quick and physical going against a nice athlete in Alex Bars.

0:26 - Hunter gets mauled by Luke and still recovers to make the grab on a low throw from Kizer. I see TJ Jones 2.0 for us this season.

0:39 - J. Jones may still be dealing with lingering effects from his various injuries, but he looks to be playing with a lot of effort. After watching a recent interview with him on II, I think he understands the stakes this year. Getting him all the way there mentally is half the battle.

0:45 - After catching a short pass, CJ Sanders has no room to recover and make a move on Crawford. Taller receivers may make catches over Crawford this year, but I don't see many players getting separation.

0:50 - I'm all on board the Tony Jones hype train. It's a big effing train.

0:58 - Claypool making plays in back to back vids. He ain't moving to LB.

Funny you posted this. I watched this show live, and when Kevin Carter was saying this it kinda shocked me a bit......until.... he mentioned how Lyght said how Zaire gives the Defense FITS.

To me the whole thing sounded like less of a big deal than he was making it. It seemed more like Lyght was stressing just how good both QBs are. The ol 1A and 1B situation haha

I just don't see Brian Kelly not playing both quarterbacks in all 12 games. Both kids are just too good to keep on the bench.

Give Kizer the ball from our own 1 yard line all the way to the opponent's 30 and then put Zaire in.

Two QB set with them both calling stuff on the line, changing protections, etc. Read option. Confusion af for any unsuspecting opposition.

Give it to me.

does anyone know or have talked to anyone that says if there is a difference receiving the ball from a righty to a lefty and vice-versa?

When I was in high school, our team always had 2 quarterbacks in the backfield. One was really athletic and would run (Zaire), while the other one was bigger and was more of a pocket passer (Kizer, even though he can run too). It was really successful too and I can see why it could be a huge headache for a defense.

Kelly doesn't have the balls to do that though lol. I just want him to play both guys.

He had no problem doing that in the LSU game lol

LSU game worked because you had one qb fighting for redemption and another that would do whatever you told him because he wanted to play. We are blessed and cursed to have two deserving quarterbacks that have both earned the right to play.
