VJ cold as ice and Brey says - hey it is crunch time, let's iso VJ! Never understood Brey's inability to acknowledge a COLD hand. Bonzi, Farrell and Steve should have been well ahead of VJ with a focus on working as a team to get an open shot. No sweat on VJ for having an off day - happens. Just cannot fathom shoving 12 shots through him when others were getting it done.
Thought we looked the better team but went cold late. We will beat a lot of good teams this year for sure. We shot under 30% from three on the day and should have won - we will flat out destroy folks when we shoot 40% and up behind the arc.

It actually happened in 1986. Before the season, Holtz's first ND team was unranked We lost a close one to Michigan in the first game and then were subsequently ranked.

Nice FT advantage for Purdue. Turning into a big problem for this team. Been outscored in the 2nd half in 4/5 games vs. P5 teams.

It has happened every game we've played against a competent team...shouldn't be surprising.
Recruiting big men for Brey is very similar to recruiting pass rushers for Kelly.

Well over these last 2 games we learned that we can play with almost any team in the country....... just not beat them.

Tough loss for the Irish, but I thought they played well. Got destroyed inside the entire second half by some talented players. VJ was non-existent in the second half.
