I'm cautiously optimistic the Steelers have a shot. Also would not be surprised if they get thumped.

I'm very optimistic, the Pats have literally not played a decent QB all year. Well maybe Russell Wilson, and that ended in a L.

This is true. But Ben isn't playing great right now, and he hasn't done that well on the road.

I think it's close, but I like NE. And I am obviously very biased.

If Pittsburgh wins, IMO it's going to be by getting to Brady early and by Bell going off in a lower scoring game than 34-27. The formula to beat NE is pass rush, control the clock, and win the turnover battle and win like 20-17.

As much as I love the Steeler D this year, I just can't see them slowing Brady down that much. I'm hoping NE D is weaker than expected (because of the lack of competition this year) and Bell and Brown can run up and down the field. I see it being more of a shootout, but either way I think it will be a great game. I'd literally be shocked if NE ran them out of the building. But with those guys, anything is possible.

Of course they have a shot, especially with the way they've been running the ball and playing defense. Ben just needs to get out of the small funk he is in and not turn the ball over.

The biggest key for a Steelers victory is time of possession. If the ground game can keep doing what it has done the last 2 months and keep Tom off the field, then I like their chances.

I fixed the broken link from that janky-ass ESPN website that was causing this thread to crash.

You guys can discuss the playoffs again haha

I'm rooting for the Falcons, because they remind me a lot of how the Bengals have tried to build their team, and the amount of similarities makes me jealous of their success, but in a likable way. And I think Matt Ryan catches too much grief at times, because it's easiest to blame the QB if your team isn't elite.

It also helps that it's easy to root against the Patriots.

But in reality, this is a win-win situation for everybody that's NOT a die-hard Falcons fan, because even if the Falcons lose, we get to watch Roger Goodell hand the SuperBowl trophy to Tom Brady, and that will be a joy.

At least, I hope to God that Kraft/Belichick would let Brady be the first up there to grab it, because Goodell.

I think Belichick was also shocked at how hammered Kraft seemed....
