Has anyone heard anything about Sebastian? It would be if he could contribute like Riggs did.

all positives thus far...nothing major in terms of specifics...but that he was looking good, understanding the def etc

Someone, I think Keith Arnold saw him as having a more limited role than Cody Riggs.

He is a top gunner for special teams, and has excelled at that already, and there is some belief that he could be used in certain third down packages, but other than that I have heard nothing.

On a private note I have talked to two people who have noted how put together AS is!

CRAZY PROPS TO THE ND MEDIA TEAMS, they are finally doing this team justice. They are releasing content quickly and consistently. They are keeping the fans engaged, this is night and day better than what they gave us last year.

I wish we could reinforce their operations by sending an email, I hope they read these message boards ;)

Also, I'd like Collinsworth to decrease the plumage but he is a natural in front of the camera so i guess we can accept it for now.

I assume he'll talk to the team. Hopefully we will get some footage of it. He talked to Alabama a year or two ago and it was redic.

talking about the QB'S

"I think they’re a lot more focused than last year," Redfield said. "I feel like they weren’t all bought into the program. Everybody needs to be bought into the program whether you’re first, second or third-string, and I feel like throughout the entire quarterback core, that everybody is bought in and is trying to better the team as they can."---247

How much of the credit goes to Sanford?

My takeaway, not from the quote, from the situation is with a clearcut #1 it has removed some of the tension in the room and the me attitude. When you are battling for a spot it can be difficult to exclude your personal gain from the environment.

Eh, that quote can mean a lot of different things. Golson was never the rah-rah type, Zaire was clearly very annoyed last year when he was named the #2, and Kizer probably was planning on a RS year mentally. It's probably night and day compared to this year with Zaire as the unquestioned #1 and leader, Kizer actually prepping to be the guy in case of an injury, and Wimbush who probably has the best arm talent on the team and I would imagine is already pushing Kizer.

ESPN just concluded its countdown of the top 100 active CFB players for the 2015 season based on the opinions of 43 of their staffers.

The Irish were well represented with 4 players making the list:
T-25: Jaylon Smith
34: Ronnie Stanley
54: Sheldon Day
T-77: KeiVarae Russell

Still no Will Fuller, crazy so many people are overlooking a returning true junior who put up 15 TDs last year.

Yea, look at some of his stats compared to guys that went in the first few rounds of the draft this last year. I'm fairly shocked by this considering that KVR hasn't played football in a whole year and is on the list. Now I think he will be but IMO Fuller would be more deserving at this time.

Here is Devin Smith's numbers from last year and he was drafted 37th overall.

Rec: 33 Rec yds. 931 rec avg. 28.2 long 80 TD's: 12

Fuller had better numbers in all categories but avg. and long which, IMO, are the least significant of the bunch.

Those rankings suck ass considering Jaylon and Ronnie are Top 10, maybe Top 5 draft prospects.

And you could argue the other 2 are 1st rd potential, too.

espn'd again.

To be fair, best college players =/= best NFL prospects.
