With the 4th pick in second round. Your Jacksonville Jaguars select. Phillip Dorsett WR The U

Being awake providing moral support to my wife as she try's to console my 11 month old is pure hell. The poor little man is super pissed, and not the DublinIrish kinda pissed, the I'm going to scream at the top of my lungs no matter how hard mommy or daddy try's to ease him kinda pissed. I've gotta be up for work in four hours. FML

Oh and Dorsett is a good player. He was behind the Irish secondary at well a few years ago at Solider Field. 4.25 40 at his pro day a few weeks ago.

With the fifth pick in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Jets select Nelson Agholor. The Jets were hoping Melvin Gordon would be there as the Jets need a big play running back. Agholor can play i the slot for a year or two once Brandon Marshall's contract is up or Decker gets cut.

With the 6th pick of the 2nd Round, the Washington Redskins selected Kurtis Drummond, S, Michigan State

The Skins secondary is terrible, adding a tough safety from Sparty with great ball skills will be a benefit. I was on the fence between him and Prewitt from Ole Miss, but give me the Spartan.

With the seventh pick of the second round in the 2015 IE Mock Draft, the Bears choose...

Shaq Thompson - OLB/Safety: University of Washington

washington-shaq-thompson-nfl-position.jpg

The Bears choose to double down on another OLB, although Thompson is more of a "tweener" player. He was a multi-dimensional guy in college who played safety, runningback and ultimately settled into the OLB role. In Chicago, they will bring him in as a safety but will ultimately put this freak athlete wherever his skills can be most taken advantage of and also serve as a contingency plan for Fowler, Jr. Who they took in the first.

With the 8th pick of the 2nd round the New York Giants select AJ Cann, C, South Carolina

The G-Men need to improve in the trenches, and Cann is a physical, tough guard who started at South Carolina for 4 years, missing only 1 game.

The Rams select Ty Sambrailo, OT, Colorado State

TSambrailo.jpg

I think the Rams should have gotten a Tackle in the 1st round, but now Sambrailo is the best available.

I'll float a pick out for Atlanta.

How about the best Tight End available in the draft, Maxx Williams?

usatsi_8191455.jpg

After Julio Jones and Roddy White, Matt Ryan needs a third target and tight end production has dropped after Tony Gonzales retired.

With the 43rd pick in the 2015 NFL draft the Cleveland Browns select..........Devin Funchess WR, Michigan

Funchess.jpg

I might get killed for this but i would be really satisfied if we picked Funchess here. He has a giant frame he's freakishly athletic and quicker than his 40 times indicate, he dropped his time from a 4.7 to a 4.47 between the combine and Michigan's pro-day.
He could be the perfect jump ball target for Maziel a la a poor mans Mike Evans. Both are 6'5" 235ish Funchess had a higher vert, more bp reps, and bigger hands. IMO if Funchess had ran better at the combine he would be a top 20 pick for sure.

The Saints are on the clock.

* I actually did consider making Funchess the Chargers 1st round pick, I think he's gonna be a good pro down the line

With the 44th pick in the NFL Entry Draft, the New Orleans Saints select, Eric Kendricks, Linebacker, UCLA.

MediaHandler.jpg

The Saints are elated to pick up Kendricks at this spot. With the departure of Lofton in the offseason, the Saints are looking to fill the inside linebacker role, and Kendricks would fit right in immediately. He brings great zone-awareness and coverage skills, something the Saints had major trouble with last season, letting RBs make big plays after getting past the line.

With the 45th pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Benardrick McKinney MLB Mississippi St. McKinney fills a whole at MLB that the Vikings have had for the past few years. The MLB position is integral to Mike Zimmer's defense and McKinney should be a very good 2 down MLB to start his career with potential to turn into a 3 down LB over time. He brings great size to the position measuring 6'4" 246 lbs. and runs a 4.66 forty.

With the 46th pick of the 2015 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers pick Laken Tomlinson. With the 49ers losing Iupati to free agency and the OLine not paying well last season, Tomlinson should help the 49ers run the ball better and give Kapernick some time in the pocket.
