With the 44th pick in the NFL Entry Draft, the New Orleans Saints select, Eric Kendricks, Linebacker, UCLA.
The Saints are elated to pick up Kendricks at this spot. With the departure of Lofton in the offseason, the Saints are looking to fill the inside linebacker role, and Kendricks would fit right in immediately. He brings great zone-awareness and coverage skills, something the Saints had major trouble with last season, letting RBs make big plays after getting past the line.
That is a really good football player at 44. Reminds me quite a bit of Manti slipping to the 2nd rd. because he didn't have the eye popping athleticism.

First round completely updated w actual picks next to mocked picks.
8 new names got drafted that we hadn't picked in the first round of the mock.
Our mock had 6 WR picked and there were 6 actually picked last night. I think someone is going to get a great value pick when Jalen Strong gets selected in round 2.
Our mock had 7 OL going and indeed 7 OL were selected.
There were only 2 QB's selected as mocked (that was a no brainer)
