Both look stupid... I mean the whole dawg thing came from Hanford Dixon ( one of my all time favs) in the mid 1980s right? It's not even that old of a thing, and why continue it when 'the dawg pound' was demolished years ago...

It would be like the Seahawks putting the sixth man on their helmets. Dumb.

This is exactly true... Or the Hawks using that logo/ name at all after they leave their current venue for some other stadium that isn't nearly as loud.

I'm already getting angry about the draft, this is the third time in what, five years, the Browns have had two first rounders... They completely screwed the pooch on the first two... My guess is they draft a kicker and Bruce Heggie...

Ive seen a few people say the Colts may get Melvin Gordon or Todd Gurley in the first round...honestly id be pretty pumped about that we need to get TRich out of here. But also need OL,DL, LB, and corner/safety so idk what to expect

Don't think Gordon would be available at the point. I think the Colts should focus on oline.

Colts need OL badly, tbh if a stud center was available in first round they should take him

Colts should just focus on the D and OL. Luck is good enough he doesn't need much help at the skill positions IMO.

You give the Browns too much credit.

The Alabama athletic department touted the nine players drafted in 2013, flouting their contracts in a recruiting photo.

Time to examine how these nine players drafted in 2013 have done. The standard rookie contract is for four years. Three (Dee Milliner, Chance Warmack, and DJ Fluker) were drafted in the first round (9th,10th,11th) with combined contracts worth of $36.3 million. A third of the nine players made 70% of the $51 million total.

After the first round, the money drops. Eddie Lacy (2nd rd, 61st pick) signed for four years for $3.3 million and a $850,000 bonus. (Milliner, Warmack and Fluker each got about $12 million for four years with $7 million signing bonuses.)

Not only does the money drop, but the chances of completing four years does too.
Nico Johnson (4-99) was released by KC after two years, recently signing for one year with Cincinnati. Barrett Jones (4-113) has had season-ending injuries and surgeries the last two years. Jesse Williams (5-137) has not seen the field in two years with Seattle due to knee injuries. Quinton Dial (5-157) is 3rd string NT for SF. Michael Williams was on IR in '13 and on the practice squad in '14.

Of the first rounders,

Milliner tore his Achilles in October, may not be available for the start of the season and is currently listed fourth on the CB depth chart for the Jets. PFF rates him as Average.

Warmack is Tennessee's first string RG but his play has been uneven and he needs to lose some weight. PFF rates him as Good.

Fluker has been San Diego's first string RT for two years. But PFF graded him out at 56th best of 83 tackles last year. PFF rates him as Poor.

Lacy has been the smartest pick and best bargain with second round money and graded out by PFF as Very Good (only Elite is better).

My friend did most of the video work on this ESPN series. Last year's ESPN series was really good and I would expect this year's to garner a lot of attention with Jameis prominently featured. Check it out tonight at 7pm ET on ESPN.

If Williams drops to the Bears I would hope it takes them all of half a second to make their selection.
